Okay, basically we'd just be discussing SAO Stuff, like how supposedly Kirito is the only one with the dual weild skill, yet when he's fighting Rosalina one of the bad guys has two axes. |

Light. The one everyone seems to like. The one people seem to know. But what they don't know, is that if you have light, you have to have darkness. People who fight for light often have a dark past, a dark secret, or like me, dark POWERS. My name is Yin hasimoto, and i am someone who fights for light, and to top that off, has light powers. But like nearly everyone else who fights for light, i have a dark secret, a dark past, and he**, even dark powers. but people like me realize that without darkness, we wouldn't have light. And something else people don't realize, is that light is STRONGER with darkness. So why do people hate darkness so much? Because they think all darkness is bad. It's not. If you are one of the people that realize darkness is not bad, then great. 98% of teenager does or has tried smoking pot. Sword Art Online has to be among one of the most terribad anime series I've ever seen! If there ever was a "Twilight" of Anime, Sword Art Online would be it! |

If someday we meet in person in the near future, and I had recently done anything that would confirm that I had become a Brony (which as of now I am not one), such as if I had posted on a Pony-related fan-site, drawn a Pony-themed artwork, contributed to a Pony fanfic, or anything else along those lines. If I have done anything like that, I want you to punch me in the face without warning. This make sound like I'm joking, but I am absolutely serious about this. Ignore any future statements retracting this if I ever make any. Though if you do, please first confirm that it is me who is doing it, and not some Brony who is posing as me and wants to see me get punched. I do not wish to go down the path of the Bronies, and hopefully those of you reading this will help me so that it stays that way, if god forbid I ever even attempt it. Thank you. | |

I fixed that for you Shyna...don't look at me like that,I'll elaborate Sword art online is by no means a "terribad" anime.I do believe all are entitled to their opinion. Sword art online has a surplus of somewhat romantic moments,but I believe comparing that to Twilight on that basis is albeit far,it's like saying the main character of Altered Beast is Jacob since he can transform into a wolf like creature. Sword art online is basically a visual representation of what it would be like to be in a Role-Playing Game...a genre many people...including myself,enjoy...Besides the music score is excellent to me as well. If you think Sao is bad...go watch Bobobobobo-bobobo,or even worse...Boku no Pico(which arguably is twilight-like). |

Oh nooooooo not Boku no Pico XP! Like seriously would that even qualify as a romance series? Because I saw absolutely NO romantic scenes in that., At least the ahem... Fluffy, sensible kind. Anyway, I don't hate SAO. I just dislike some bits of it.. Mainly how Kirito is protected by plot shield to the max, and had quite a few ass pull moments(Like how is he the only one able to dual wield? I'm pretty sure there are PLENTY of capable players able to well.) .. And the harem over tones :P.. |

Here's all the reasons why Sword Art Online is not a good series! Also, I don't like the music in it one bit either. I've seen better RPG anime series, like .HACK, Hyperdimension Neptunia The Anime, and Code Lyoko.

I can agree on the .HACK and Code Lyoko parts,never seen HyperDimension Neptunia...but I've seen a few pictures to know that it is Sexualized Kirito may be a Gary-Stu,but by saying that is saying that animes like Naruto,Bleach,One Piece(HST),Dragon Ball-Gt,Fairy tail,Space Dandy, and others main characters are Gary-Stus,Everyone is basically supposed to like Goku,Luffy,Naruto,Ichigo,Natsu,Dandy,and hell even Sonic.We all know that at the end of the day,the main character is going to fix the problem.Saying it in that sense makes Kirito and the others...Mirror Characters. And do remember that this is an OPINIONATED article,if they were true reasons that it was a horrible anime,then it would have cold hard facts...I happen to know some who go into agressive fangirl mode if someone "badmouths" SAO.(or Naruto). I do agree that the music is lacking in "pizzazz" or overall enjoyment,but that doesn't mean people hate it,Luminous Sword isn't a bad song...at least to me. |

Most mature consumers tend to prefer a more well written character with some amount of development or depth. None of the many one-dimensional characters in SAO exhibit any form of actual growth. Also it has that weird incest subplot. Also it's based on a light novel that is literally pron. SAO is not good is what I'm getting at... Got dat booty doe.

I'm not sure if the name Sword Art Online is targeted towards mature consumers...Mature consumers would probably be more intrigued by Cowboy Bebop,Darker than Black,Ghost in the shell,Samurai Champloo,and many others.Those names just sound more appealing to Post-Adolescents,Sao sounds like an Anime version of Neverwinter Nights or DnD. Other than that I agree with what you said....I never said Sword Art Online was a great anime,I said it was an okay anime...Borderline Mediocre,at least in my opinion. |

I could see why you'd enjoy it if you were like 12 Other than that, it's mediocre at best. You shouldn't be content with mediocrity when there are so many shows of greater quality out there. |
