"Randomocity has you!" These words were shouted out by Senjin Blitzerson, front man of Randomocity, a two man guitar and keyboard band. They had just finished their weekly video of them doing a couple of cover songs. They also recorded their own songs too, but today wasn't that day. It was a cover day. As Senjin turned off the webcam, his girlfriend and band mate Mariko Elsan was smiling. She always liked it when he and her finished a cover. It was midday at their apartment complex, when suddenly a portal materialized - right in front of the duo. |

The white light grew brighter and brighter. Electricity started crackling in the air as a unearthly whine grew louder and louder. When it reached its peak, a female scream could be heard as a shockwave blasted from the portal. Shelves- and people- were knocked over. The portal closed, leaving a burn on the ground and a black soot-covered thing on the ground. This thing, if it was standing, would be up to waist level in height. It was equine in shape, and it seemed to have two wings splaying out. Its face was a bit unusual in shape, having larger forward-facing eyes and a small muzzle. |

The duo were knocked down from the force of the portal. Their equipment were also knocked over, thankfully nothing was damaged. Mariko was the first to get up, Senjin following by a close second. They looked at the mass of soot that had now made a burn mark on the hardwood flooring of their small apartment living room. "......O.K." Mariko said slowly, followed by Senjin declaring "That happened." The duo slowly went over to the smoldering...um..thingy. yes, thingy. |

The thing remain unconscious. Due to all the black soot, it was unsure whether it was injured or not. |

The thing's eyes slowly fluttered opened. And it seemed to be quite cross-eyed. - - - Everything slowly faded into view for Derpy Hooves. She let off a small groan of dull pain. Pretty much everything hurt, and she had no idea where she was. |

"Any clue what that is? " Mariko asked her boyfriend. "Not sure, but I'm gonna try and heal it," Senjin replied, unplugging his SoulString guitar, and plugging it into an old, ornate-looking amp. After adjusting the volume of the amp, Senjin began to play a slow, gentle tune on the guitar. The amp began to glow, and soft white light washed over the creature. |
