((We're not mad at you or anything, I'm trying to modify my character seeing as he normally has powers also. TakeCare, I guess we'll keep progressing as usual. We'll try not to move too fast. -resets back to store-)) Rad figured there was no point in remaining in cover. They had to get out of here fast or else everyone would find themselves stuck between some Walker's teeth. Rad rushed out of cover and leaned over the counter. "Leo, I've got a ladder back here. Let's move," he said, eyeing the figure for a moment before signaling Leo. Leo figured that if he was going to fight this brave spirit that it would have happened already. He shuffled to the side with his gun still on the figure before he hopped the counter and followed after his partner. "Feel free to stay for dinner if you want," said the hybrid, his way of saying to come along. Rad shoved some storage boxes to the side and revealed a ladder that led to the empty roof. From there, they could cross to the next building while the Walkers searched for them inside. |

(We're not trying to diverge against you, either. I was just guessing what Eren wanted out of his RP. ^^' My character has powers, as well, but the transition between having and not having them rides very smoothly for me. Anyway, yeah continue as normal, not worry too much on me, and I edited my place holder post. tl;dr: just getting Flint more positioned closer to the three character, but far enough at a safe distance.) Flint drew his pistol. The couple dozen walkers that were attacking the building definitely started to cause a ruckus that would turn the heads of other walkers in the immediate area. However, a few of them weren't interested, that or they just weren't paying attention. If a survivor was still in there they were most likely trap or dead, so the fox thought, knowing there would be no way he make a daring rescue against an ever growing horde of undead. That thought prompt him to began checking his own surroundings, noticing he hadn't provided himself with much cover behind the mail box he posted up against. Prime time was nearing for the undead and Flint had wondered himself to a bad spot due to his curiosity. If anything louder were to go off, the streets could easily be flooded with the damned. Flint's eyes gleamed over paths to retreat to. A cold sweat dripped from his head when he gazed back to the crowd of undead. As the dim skies of evening set itself to the bitter horrors of night, for the fox the choice was either to run or engage a losing fight. |

Storm picked up something shiny and pocketed it before following. Her arrowblade was drawn just in case they had to fight anything on their escapade. She checked the bioscanner on her watch. 17 zombies attacking the door, 3 around the perimeter and 2 on the next street. The watch began to flicker and fade to black. "No, no! Not now you stupid watch!" She growled, hitting the watch with her hand.

Leo darted up the ladder with ease. Once everyone was inside the storage closet, Rad quickly slammed the door. The echo of the glass breaking from the store from the pressure of the Walkers was enough to make any sane being panic. Leo took eye at the roof, seeing a clear jump to the next building over as Rad struggled to pull himself up with his injured arm. "Six blocks. We gotta keep moving," Leo spoke, helping Rad up. As Rad climbed to his feet, the duo took a daring leap to the next building. It was four story apartment building with a large hole in the side of the 2nd story, big enough to fit the survivors. Leo took a short look back to check if the other figure made it out okay before pressing on. |

Storm followed, jumping over the gap. She barely made it, grabbing onto the ledge to pull herself up. She rolled and stood up, running after them and checking her watch. /6 minutes/ she thought, running hell for leather after the duo. |

Seeing shadowed figures making their escape among the rooftop gave some prescriptive on the fox's situation in how unfamiliar he was to the area. Holstering his sidearm Flint took out his knife. It wouldn't be long until a walker spots him and with that in mind he began running a similar direction as those on the rooftops. Instead of the main streets, however, he took to the alleys. "This is a bad idea," Flint huffed. He continued to take in his surroundings while doing what he could to dodge the various obstacles whenever they were presented. A walker started to come into view and the fox quickly gave it a good slice to the neck and he continued forward, yet it wasn't the only one there as a second and third walker spotted him. They tried to purse, but the fox has already making his way into another alley. |

Storm got the uneasy feeling they were being followed. She turned around and saw a dead walker lying in the street. "Oh, Mr slowpoke finally caught up..." She continued to follow the duo, occasionally picking up the odd metal fragment She threw it to the right to direct attention away from them. The clanging metal attracted the walkers away from them so their escape was a little more possible. |

"Three blocks," Leo muttered, quietly trotting beside Rad. Leo wasn't too keen on giving away their hiding spot to this newcomer but he was responsible for protecting the public before the world fell. If she wanted to kill them, she would have attempted it a while ago. However, she could be tailing them on purpose. Leo would be ready for anything. "My arm isn't feeling any better," Rad muttered, staggering behind Leo's lead. The duo ducked into another abandoned apartment building with two undead tenants that Rad dispatched with his blade, wielding it one-handed. Unfortunately, the roof was too high and the next few buildings were intact, meaning they'd have to stay at street level. The next two blocks were a large park that lacked great cover. Trees and benches wouldn't do much to protect them. "Looks like we might have a bit of a fight on our hands..." |

Storm emerged from the shadows. "Took ya long enough to get here" She stayed in shadow but was partially visible from her right side. Her arrowblade glistened in the moonlight as she strapped it to her arm, drawing an arrow from her quiver and snapping it in two and fastening it to the other arm. They stuck up with the tips of the blades pointing at her, the sharp edge on the outside for slicing undead flesh. "Where exactly are we going? And you'll probably want to know that we're being followed." She looked to the crowd of walkers. "There's too many of them to fight, even with three of us we'd be overpowered immediately. That also rules out me distracting them, since I don't want to be hungry for flesh. The metal banging wouldn't work either, it wouldn't buy us enough time." She then got an idea "Hit me" she said, picking up a stick. "Do whatever, just make me mad" |

"And from what crazed fantasy world did you draw the notion of 'we'?" Leo whispered loudly, peaking around the corner of a building through to the Walker infested field. Leo would have enjoyed using the newcomer as a distraction. The soldier was remaining stubborn with his kindness as it was hard to maintain a helping nature. "There are a few cars scattered around. Think we could set off an alarm?" "It'd help but it'd also draw every nearby walker into this park. We could cut off our path." "I can't run through them all with one arm. We'd be better off setting the place on fire..." Leo took a short pause, not accurately absorbing the third wheel's information. Scanning the abandoned cars, he quickly devised a plan. "Rad, if you can use your sword to cut some of the gas tanks from the cars and motorcycles, we can spread it around the park. If we use bullets to light the gas, it'll immediately set off the walkers. The fire will be quieter and give us more time to escape. We'll need something quieter," he began to reluctantly turn to the female, now identified by the moonlight. "We'll need your bow to light it." |

"Heh, after completely ignoring me you expect me to help you?" She looked at her arrows. She had 13 left. She looked at the two, not really wanting to help them but she supposed she had no choice.She had found two survivors and they needed help so that's what she was gonna do, with her own flare of course. She took off one of the arrow heads and replaced it with her last wooden one. "Just tell me when." She took her bow off and loaded the arrow, ready to fire at a moments notice, her loyalty shining through. |

((-yawns- Lazy post)) Leo winced in his mind, knowing he had been kind of a jerk to the girl. He was lucky she actually wanted to help him. He turned to Rad and nodded. He laid a half-used lighter by the girl's feet. "Make sure that arrow is lit well. On my first signal, light it, so you don't draw attention," muttered the soldier, tapping his partner as they made their move. The Walkers moaned and stumbled around the park, lost in obliviousness as Leo and Rad approached the first open car. They began gutting it, tearing through the trunk and backseat and savagely ripping out the gas tank, still full. They slowly dumped the contents in a patch of grass and moved on quietly. ((activates small time skip)) Several cars later, they covered one edge of the park in gas. However, the walkers finally began to notice the two as their scent began to waft over Walkers not near the gas. Leo gave his first signal, hoping the new girl would begin to light her arrow. When that gas lit, it would open up an escape route to continue moving forward while creating a distraction that won't draw the attention of the whole city. As the Walkers began to circle the duo, Leo gave the second signal. |

(Storm was just gonna use her wings but oh well) Storm lit the arrow with the lighter Breathing deeply. She couldn't afford to miss. She drew her bow, waited for the signal and shot the flaming arrow as it hit the gas tank in a mushroom cloud. |

((I kinda felt that but wanted to kinda avoid it. .___.)) In a large burst, a wave of fire shot across the grass of the park. Heat erupted and blanketed the streets, enough to roast the hairs over your eyes. The fire slowly began to move through the rest of the grass, enough so they could quickly cross and move forward. Instead of yelling, Leo motioned her to quickly press forward. Leo and Rad took cover in another abandoned building before bumping fists in accomplishment. "One block," he said, with a chuckle. Their goal was now in site. The actual store looked a bit rundown but he knew that safe would be able to hold them for a night or two of rest. In the moment of triumph, Rad's laughter abruptly stopped, with Leo's right behind it. "... Did she say we were being followed?" |
