The World has fallen. What you once knew is no longer the truth. Families, gone. Friends, devoured. Everyone else? Hungry. And undead. The following RP is a RP based on the Walking Dead, a show that depicts the world of a zombie apocalypse for those who don't know the show. We start off five months from the world falling. The world is in shambles and filthy. Most resources have failed and most signals are dead outside of radio transmissions and walkie-talkies. Stores could already have been ransacked among the chaos. Majority of the population has already been slaughtered, if not turned. Walkers only die by being decapitated or by bludgeoned/stabbed/shot in the head. Most walkers(or zombies) do not travel faster than a slow jog. They are very sensitive to hearing, light, and smell. Big fires, car alarms, gunshots or other loud noises will alert other walkers. Rules: 1. NO SUPERPOWERS. They are non-existent in this world. Your new characters skilled are based off of this list. They are added at the end of character submission sheet. Character skills are rated between 1 and 5, 5 being the highest. Strength: How strong your character is and how effective they are with weapons. It also determines how much they can carry at one time. Speed: How fast your character moves. Stealth:How quietly you move against the Walkers. Firearms: How accurate you are with Firearms Scavenge: How effectively your character can forage and repair items. Perception: How effective your character at spotting Walkers or escape routes. Trust: How reliable or cowardly your character is in a pinch. For balancing purposes, your character must have at least two skills at a level 3 or lower and a maximum of two skills at level 5. 2. The only way you become infected is by being bit. After which, your character has 72 hours until they die and turn. That is only if you choose for your character to be bit. (Mainly for dramatic effect.) It is your choice whether to tell the group if you have been bit or not. 3. Items are reasonably found. You won't find a random assault rifle in the forest with no police or army units around. A hunter dead in the forest with a hunting rifle is sensible. The RP is meant to be realistic. Factor in your ammo count. 4. The character limit is set to three characters alive at one point in time. Feel free to kill off and add at your leisure. Characters may be brought in at any random time. 5. You are NOT a one-man army. The following is a list of GOLDEN ITEMS. GOLDEN ITEMS are the most essential tools to Walker defense. You may only spawn with one GOLDEN ITEM. You can find others later in the RP but your character may only have two GOLDEN ITEMS at one time. If you find more than two, feel free to share with other characters or add them to the group storage. - Katana/Sword - Automatic Rifles or Weapons with ammo - Any weapon with a silencer - Two Grenades or Flashbangs - Bow and Arrow or Crossbow(These count as silenced weapons. Be aware of arrow count. These should be more scarce.) - Rocket or Grenade Launcher. (Ammo for these will come at a maximum of two and to be conserved for large hordes. One rocket won't eliminate an entire horde. It wouldn't be fun if you just Call of Duty'd a whole zombie army.) The story begins starting with two towns in a twenty mile radius of each other with wilderness, an abandoned highway, a decent amount of supplies and vehicles, and minimal walkers. Your characters will "spawn" within these twenty miles. We can specify locations to real places in the United States or fictional areas such as in the Sonic World as we progress. Character Submission Sheet: Name: Age: Gender: Species: (Furry OR Human) Personality: Appearance: Starting Equipment: Feel free to list anything here but be moderate. You could start with a car or food and clothing or weapons but nobody is well off yet. We will start with two other members. Rules may be updated so I'll make a notification when I edit. |

I logged in just in time, lol. Make sure to review the rules and post your characters skills as well. I hadn't thought of Claymores during the creation but those may not be a popular find but some towns will have Army or National Guard stations you can scavenge weapons like that. |

Let's give my imagination a brain test. Character Submission Sheet: Name: Flint Age: 25 Gender: Male Species: Furry - Swift Fox Personality: TC is very much a loner. It just takes time to wiggle through his zones of friendship, and even more so to gain his trust and the full extent of his kind-heart. He does have a lot of patience and keeps an open mind. The fox is quite passionate in the work he does, too. Sometime you can see him basking in it, other times his seriousness shows the focus he's committed to a task, even out right ignoring other around him as he plans. Starting Equipment: Bowie Knife, 9mm with only a half clip of bullets. Appearance: Body: Standing at 5' 7" this swift fox has a silky smooth light brown fur that gives off a thin appearance that masks his slight muscular toned body. His large creamy white mane narrows to a point just above his belly button and soft to the touch. His thick bangs branch out and reach down past his thin white muzzle, capable of hiding his brown brown eyes but its usually cheats off to the right. The tip of his tail, bangs and center of the palms of his hands are charcoal colored. There are four distinctively large charcoal spots on his back, two on each shoulder blade. Much of his legs are bulky as they're twice the size of his forearms. Clothing: Ripped black pants, tank top and scarf. Skills Strength: 3 Speed: 2 Stealth: 5 Firearms: 4 Scavenge: 2 Perception: 4 Trust: 2 |

My character will be Rad Riardos, of course. I changed his quill design. He has four quills that fall back as a square. The two top-quills arch like regular quills. His bottom two quills arch below and hook slightly towards the front with black stripes on top. His bangs are slightly scruffled as well. Starting Equipment: Katana, Hunting Rifle, standard pistol, low rations. Rad carries his equipment in a rifle bag sling. Strength: 4 Speed: 5 Stealth: 5 Firearms: 3 Scavenge: 3 Perception: 4 Trust: 4 And... Name: Leo Izashi Age: 18 Gender: Male Species: Hedge-fox Personality: As a former GUN agent, he's very focused. He's reliable in a pinch to those he trusts but he has a hard time warming up to newcomers. Appearance: White fur, regular quills with a blue stripe only on his right-most quills, with a jagged bang. He wears a black, zipped vest with compartments on it where he houses spare bullets/magazines. Underneath is a white t-shirt and he has a thick pair of cargo pants and black gloves and combat boots. His belt is outfitted with two holsters and a slot for magazine cartridges. Starting Equipment: Triple Long-barreled .357 Magnum, Silenced Pistol with ammo, A combat knife with a pair of brass knuckles attached to the hilt, low rations. Leo carries his equipment in a durable bookbag on his back and the pockets of his vest. Strength: 3 Speed: 3 Stealth: 4 Firearms: 5 Scavenge: 4 Perception: 5 Trust: 3 I'm ready to start. Do you want to stick to Sonic the Hedgehog Mobian-like locations or real world locations similar to the U.S? |

If that's the case, we can start near Atlanta, just like in the show. If Mobian, we can use zones and fake towns. Like, "There shold be a town across the Green Hill Zone," as an example. If real world, I'll make the starting post after class. |

We'll just do a hybrid mix. We'll use real cities but still have zones every now and then. We'll smart simple with the zones nearby being Emerald Ocean from Sonic Adventure 1 and Station Square, of course. I guess I'll kick things off. -------- "Yo. Walkers. Three o' clock." "Station Square got hit pretty bad too, I guess. We should find some decent supplies here though." The sun was beginning to set and the outdoors would be even more unsafe then they already are. With such ravenous hunger bearing down on them, it was important to find shelter. Rad and Leo often frequented Station Square and were local heroes in the area. One shop owner owned a safe he used for storage which should be ripe with supplies. A thick safe such as that would offer great shelter overnight. Traversing the zombie infested streets would be no easy feat. "We're still ten blocks away. We still shouldn't draw any attention," Rad spoke softly, with a sharpened blade in his hand, ready to rip through undead flesh. "Station Square has to be packed. I don't want to handle that kind of fight." Leo kept his trusty pistol always at his hip. He takes no chances when dealing with the current situation. The gunman takes no chances after fighting to survive this long. A chill ran up Rad's spine as the two ducked behind a car that had plowed into an old infirmary. A low growl from a female walker draped in a bloody nurse uniform began to slowly limp out behind the two survivors. Rad quickly swung his sword and ripped through the leg of the walker. As it tumbled to the floor, he quietly ran the blade between the eyes of the pre-turned nurse, ending it's snarling. Using the walker's skirt to wipe the blood off, he returned to his crouched position beside his cousin, Leo. ((Feel free to start however you wish. Interactions shouldn't be as casual as other RPs.)) |
