I never have played a Guilty Gear game and never knew anything about it but heard the name. Anyway I heard about this game at E3 and watched some trailers and it looks like a kick ass fighting game! I've played entries in the X2 series mostly and have never been that good at it. There's some method to it I just don't seem to be able to get. So I mostly wound up playing its spiritual successor: BlazBlue. This entry is missing a few characters I liked (Jam, Bridget, Baiken) but there's enough there for me to want to play it (Faust, Venom, Ky). Should be good. Also I have been listening to Heavy Day a lot lately.

Sadly no one posted in that topic. Anyway, I've never played it, but I really like the animation and graphics in this game. It looks 2D but it's 3D and everything is sooooo smooth. It's coming out fall 2014 in Japan and supposedly the same time everywhere else. Not sure if they've made a concrete date yet though.

As far as I'm aware my brother is picking it up on his PS4 so I'll likely just play it with him. Been listning to the OST a bit lately and they changed all the songs again. Not sure I like them as much as the old stuff (Holy Orders noooo). Should be good either way, yeah. Wonder if we'll see DLC for the missing characters or have to wait for a revised installment.

The game is releasing in North America on December 16th. I can't wait, I need a good fighting game and this looks masterfully created. I was thinking about getting Guilty Gear Accent Core for Vita, anyone know if that's good? I read up on it and know it's a rerelease of an older one.

If that doesn't bother you, then go for it, I guess! But if you plan on picking up Xrd it might just be best to wait for that instead, lest you get attached to a character that doesn't return in this installment (Robo-Ky </3).
