It has been announced that a special stream is to be held on August 26th at 10pm JST (2pm BST, 9am EDT) called Monthly Famitsu feat. Pokemon Special on NicoNico. It is not known what this project is, whether it's a game, a new manga etc., but they say it's a shocking announcement. This stream will be hosted by Ayana Tsubaki & Bunbun-maru and features special guest Tsunekazu Ishihara, president of The Pokemon Company, as well as Nobuhiko Okamoto & Aoi Yuuki, who voiced Iris in the anime, and two currently unknown special guest.

Good to be back
The only thing I can think of off the top of my head is the rumoured Pokémon fighting game. Although, that announcement would be very strange considering how close it would be to the release of Super Smash Bros. Still, if this is related to the games in anyway shape or form, colour me excited!

Pokken Tournament is a fighting game developed by Bandai Namco that is due for release in 2015. This game is coming to arcades first, with other releases currently uncertain.

This game is a hybrid of Pokemon and Tekken, and features various Pokemon fighting each other in various surroundings. The true features of this game are not yet known.
