Anybody on the forum who love Magic the Gathering? If so, do you enjoy playing or just collecting the cards? If you do play, what kind of decks do you use? What colors are your favorite to use?

Personally, I love making black, black/white and artifact decks, although mostly I build anything as long as it contains black mana.

I'm an infrequent player. I'm a fan of more fast-paced aggressive decks; cheap, power-heavy creatures, ideally with haste, direct damage. So my favorite color to use is red.
Indeed, there is nothing more repulsive than these monsters that defy nature and are known by the name of witcher, as they are the offspring of foul sorcery and witchcraft. They are unscrupulous scoundrels without conscience and virtue, veritable creatures from hell capable only of taking lives. They have no place amongst decent and honest folk.

That's how i got into it. I saw some friends playing it during lunch in high school, asked about it and got hooked.

Oh, plenty of love on this end. I developed a decent collection over the past decade, though half of them are overseas. The decks I've been running at my local FNM is: Boros Angelic Accord. Lots of token generation through the combination of creatures and spells. Most of the spells have some life gain that can translate into Angel tokens. It's fun, but I'm really starting to shy away from Standard, simply because cards rotated out.

Modern was still new to me, hell I've only been to two of them thus far. It's more pricey than Standard, at first. To me it's a one time investment on cards, with little adjustment cards to buy here and there. So far, Soul Sisters has been doing me well, hahaaa~! I usual leave the store 3-2 and 5$ down. I'll get top 8 for prize money sometime soon, I just need to work my sideboard to handle the local meta-game.

I've been working up a couple Commander deck, too. I have one finished with Uril, the Miststalker, but it seems that a lot of people don't like to see altered cards. Probably because they cost 10x less than the actual card, but I'm not really looking to forking over 40$ for a single card. -shrug-

I do enjoy some MTG from time to time. I've basically given up on playing Standard at this point though. I really haven't played seriously since Avacyn Restored.

EDH is a lot of fun though. I usually run my 5 colour, Reaper King, Scarecrow deck. I really enjoy the flavour.

Today I went 0-4 in Modern Magic and I had the same result last week. I've getting bopped and definitely going through a dry spell with my Soul Sisters deck. However, I have been in a brewing period of both play-testing and researching better ways to enhance the deck and tip the scales more in my favor.

I reached a life total over 200 in one of my games, 20 times your starting health, but it was over in one turn when my opponent was able to infinitely create creatures once he had picked off my life-gaining girls. Doing that took him a LONG time, though, and because of time constraints and how lengthy that match was, we couldn't play the 2nd/3rd match. Concerned attention came towards me during that game. Everyone that was there watched, whether it be for a minute or ten. A Soul Sisters deck eventually gains quite a bit of life, but not on a level like this.

...How intimidating can life be? lol
