It's hard to believe that it's been over 8 years now that this forum has existed. I haven't been a regular attendee in quite a spurt of time but even still, it's hard to grasp. I do remember the struggles for finding a proper name that wasn't taken before Sonic Blast was settled upon. Sonic Zone, Sonic Zone Act II (If memory serves). Following all that you underwent many a tweaking to both the banner and overall layout of the forums. Perfecting, altering, adding, taking away. It's just amazing how far it's all come really. And that despite the drop in activity in recent years compared to it's most booming times, it still survives. There is still a Sonic community, albeit the numbers on the whole are less, and many in the Sonic community still consider Sonic Blast a home, a hangout, or whatever else one may classify a frequented webpage. (I realize that in putting things in the manner which I have, I'm indirectly declaring Facebook and Youtube to be homes/hangouts to me. A testament to the fact that I have no life ). You know, when the 10 year anniversary hits, we may all have to come on here and do something in commemoration. Even if I don't make a single new post from now until then, I'll gladly come back on to celebrate, it'll be an amazing milestone. ESPECIALLY since we're one of the few Sonic forums that grew large in size without being attached to an attention attracting website.

Because I do indeed recall this 'Blast From the Past' skin we had for the event. And the banner's pretty dang cool.
