Anyway Orengefox a Researcher over at Sonic Retro recently bought a early prototype of Sonic 2 for the Game Gear. It's a auto demo, meaning it isn't playable but is used for presentation purposes. This prototype was sent out to different magazine companies way back in '92 to showcase the latest Sonic game for the Game Gear. He already owns the game now, and posted a video. Soon the ROM will be dumped and I'll be hacking it along with other 8-bit Sonic hackers. Here's the video, with the link to the thread over at Sonic Retro. Seems pretty interesting, even though I'm not a huge fan of Sonic 2 on the Game Gear.
