The Picketmen then focused all of their attention on Proto Man, firing at him. Mega rushed forward, and noticed that the foes were still focused on his brother. "I think they just attack whoever seems to be the bigger threat. Distract them, and I'll sneak up behind them!" Mega suggested. |

The Picketmen kept their focus on Proto as Mega started sneaking up. He climbed up a ladder, and saw the first of four foes. Mega Man slowly snuck up on the Picket, put his Plasma Buster to its head, and fired. Its metal skull flew apart in a fireworks show of sparks, metal, and plasma. The body collapsed uselessly to the ground, and Mega smiled to himself. It was surprisingly satisfying to dispatch it. "One down, three to go..." |

As soon as Mega got onto the top of the tower, he was nearly hit by a large cutter, which boomeranged back to its owner. "So. You're here!" Cut Man said. "Trying to STOP me, are you?!" |

Cut Man staggered back from the hits, then threw his cutter at Proto. Mega Man rolled out of the way and fired a few more blasts, one of them hitting Cut Man in the face, sending him to the ground. |
