Well I got the new Vita after owning the old one and here is what I've noticed. It's thinner obviously but not by a huge amount. What is VERY noticable is the weight compared to the old model. The triggers are much more solid and feel better. It feels better to hold in your hands too. Also the speakers are noticably better volume wise! Now for the display. A lot of people are saying it is a downgrade to the oled display of the previous one but I'm willing to bet they never tried the new model. The new model I feel has more natual colors while the old model has a higher contrst. I feel the old model was too saturated though but it is gorgeous so it is more of a preference than which oneis better or worse. Some advantages to LCD is there is less ghosting(I never noticed this though), longer life, and less power consumption. So really if you're in the market for a Vita either version is worth it and I would suggest trying both if you can. I do love the new version though. I need to import a 64GB card though.
