So with the annual Electronic Entertainment Expo rapidly approaching I'd figure it was high time someone got a topic set up for the speculations, rumours and news that usually come out around this time. Press conferences Microsoft will host a press conference on June 9 at 9:30am (PDT) Electronic Arts will host a press conference on June 9 at 12:00pm (PDT). Ubisoft will host a press conference on June 9 at 3:00pm (PDT). Sony will host a press conference on June 9 at 6:00pm (PDT). Nintendo will not host a press conference for a second year running. They will instead host a Digital Event, which will be streamed online on June 10 at 9:00am (PDT). Eh, I haven't been as excited about E3 in recent years, especially with Nintendo doing their own thing (which I prefer tbh), but Sony surprised me last year with their beatdown so who knows~ I'm mainly looking forward for them and Square Enix of course. |

Sony did to Microsoft what they did to Sga in '95 last year. I'm very excited about this one because you know they're going to bring out the big guns. It's hard to have sofware redy before a system launch but on year after launch is when new systems always start turning on the heat. |

Sony's E3 2014 press conference will be viewable in movie theatres? Sony will stream its E3 2014 press conference in 40-50 movie theaters nationwide in the U.S. and Canada, social media senior manager Sid Shuman announced via the PlayStation Blog. Viewings will be free and open to the public, though anyone interested must register for the event. Attendees will watch the conference live in HD, which will also feature "30 minutes of exclusive content, including extended game footage and developer interviews," in addition to free giveaways. |

Too bad they're only in big cities and none close to me. That said I did reserve a spot for myself in San Fransisco before they sold out which it looks like they did everywhere. It's an hour and half to two hour drive on a good traffic day. Not sure I will go because of the travel but the free giveaways might be worth it. |

Ninty and their digital events.....Gotta admit they are straying from the well-beaten path, but it sounds simply exciting. Don't forget to check here for news and said event. |

Just feel lucky Neo that you live in a place that host such cool events. We don't ever get anything like that over here in little old England. |

And of course by the time I hear about it the cinema in my city is sold out. I suppose I'll keep an eye on it just in case. |

... Okay, Microsoft's conferences have been consistently bad for me but they actually delivered to fans this time. Not a single mention of Kinect or TVs. I'm not really interested in their franchises anymore but for fans, this was a good conference. May be interested in the new Tomb Raider and Witcher 3 though. |

Yeah just got done watching the thing. Have to say its a huge improvement over last year but the only thing that really peak my interest was the multiplatform stuff, Even Halo was kind of a letdown with how little they actually showed. And poor Conker, Relegated to a bit-part in a cult game. |

Sony's is done! Not a stomping like last year but pretty good. Although I really wish they can dedicate the Vita the time like Nintendo dedicates the 3DS. |

I must say, based on the list Ive seen and what vids Ive seen, I'm horribly underwhelmed. Nothing here makes me want to run out and buy a PS4(or a Xbox One, but honestly, that will always remain a case). Not to mention it seems the rumor of Crash being owned by Sony or no longer being in Activisions hands has been proven to just be that. I guess I'll just wait another year or so to get a PS4. |

Was hoping for a new Sly Cooper or Crash game to be announced but overall I'm happy with what I saw. They FINALLY officially announced GTA5 coming to PS4 (Yeah, we've know that for a while now) and I'm glad to see the Playstation TV is coming Westward, I'll gladly pick up one of those as opposed to a Vita. Also I just signed up for the Destiny Alpha, Hope I get picked. |
