The new anime, which shall be called "Sailor Moon Crystal," announced on July 5th at Roppongi’s Nicofarre, will be releasing in Summer 2014 with Momoiro Clover Z returning to sing the theme song. Though no more details were given, Kodansha editor Fumio Osano has expressed interest in a simultaneous worldwide broadcast for the anime. If someday we meet in person in the near future, and I had recently done anything that would confirm that I had become a Brony (which as of now I am not one), such as if I had posted on a Pony-related fan-site, drawn a Pony-themed artwork, contributed to a Pony fanfic, or anything else along those lines. If I have done anything like that, I want you to punch me in the face without warning. This make sound like I'm joking, but I am absolutely serious about this. Ignore any future statements retracting this if I ever make any. Though if you do, please first confirm that it is me who is doing it, and not some Brony who is posing as me and wants to see me get punched. I do not wish to go down the path of the Bronies, and hopefully those of you reading this will help me so that it stays that way, if god forbid I ever even attempt it. Thank you.

I agree with LC, I don't think I can watch all that again but I might look at it for the sake of nostalgia.

On another note considering how much of the thigh/butt we see in some of those poses those leotards must be giving them super wedgies.

I got to watch the 1st episode. It was very good, and the cuteness and moe' level has been turned up quite a bit, which is good. I love cute and cuddly and moe' things. However, it seemed more serious in atmosphere and vibes than the original did. Usagi is usually such an expressive character, it felt like something was missing. Nonetheless, it wasn't just a "Carbon-Copy" of the original with more refined drawings, but it had its differences. I can't wait to see the next episode. Edited by Shyna, Jul 10 2014, 05:07 AM.
