Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call

Being the sequel to the hit original, the musical rhythm series of Final Fantasy returns back to the 3DS packed with new content. And I mean a lot of new content. Curtain Call looks to bring more variety in music compared to the original, adding in a ton new songs from each Final Fantasy with 1 to 14 but also spreading out to the spin-offs this time around, which includes Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles to Lightning Returns. This is sure to be highly rewarding to veteran fans and newcomers alike, having more than 200+ songs available and over 60 characters (not including DLC).

The game will feature songs from the original Final Fantasy up to Final Fantasy XIV as well as various spin-offs, including Final Fantasy X-2, Final Fantasy Mystic Quest, Crystal Chronicles, Final Fantasy Fables, Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII-, Dissidia Final Fantasy, Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy Type-0, Final Fantasy XIII-2, and Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. Songs from Romancing SaGa will appear in the game.

Songs in game

Are you excited? Discuss. Game is set to come out sometime this year in America and PAL countries, having came out recently in Japan.

I myself can't wait. I'm hoping that Theatrhythm 3DS XL revealed in Japan makes its way over here because then I'll finally upgrade.

Never played the first, but the demo was okay. Song library in this looks pretty good so I might get it. I am wondering if Cantata Mortis includes the God In Fire part, though. I'll be disappointed if it doesn't. Advent Children songs, though. Yes.

Looks good, but not particularly excited. It's a definite maybe.

So it's like Final Fantasy meets Elite Beat Agents or some other Dance Dance Revolution-styled "Big Quicktime Events Only" game?

Dunno if it will be my cup of tea, even though I really like Final Fantasy, but I guess I'll still give it a look-see.

Also, I would like to ask a favor from for anyone who is my friend here.
If someday we meet in person in the near future, and I had recently done anything that would confirm that I had become a Brony (which as of now I am not one), such as if I had posted on a Pony-related fan-site, drawn a Pony-themed artwork, contributed to a Pony fanfic, or anything else along those lines. If I have done anything like that, I want you to punch me in the face without warning. This make sound like I'm joking, but I am absolutely serious about this. Ignore any future statements retracting this if I ever make any. Though if you do, please first confirm that it is me who is doing it, and not some Brony who is posing as me and wants to see me get punched. I do not wish to go down the path of the Bronies, and hopefully those of you reading this will help me so that it stays that way, if god forbid I ever even attempt it.
Thank you.

Elite Beat Agents is a pretty good comparison, actually. It's a tap-based rhythm game.
