How about we change "United States of Muhrica" back to "United States" or "United States of America"? I get it, "'murica" is a cute little joke, haha, so funny. But believe it or not, it has a negative connotation and gets old after awhile. Not all of us are gun-toting, drawling hicks who pronounce it that way. As far as I can see, Canada hasn't been changed to "Pussyville" and Japan hasn't been changed to "Japville" and Australia hasn't been changed to "G'day mate", etc. So how about we be mature (looking at you whoever changed this) and stop using stereotypes to group every American together. And if you don't change it, I'm leaving. Don't wanna hang around a place where I'm just considered a country bumpkin. Not gonna sit here and be grouped in with the hicks who make America "'Murica". Thanks, have a nice day. (p.s. Tried to change my Country setting to see if any other countries had been changed to something stupid and ridiculous. So I clicked on Canada and it set it as the flag for Brazil... Tried to change it back to "'muhrica" and the flag doesn't appear as an option anymore.)

Posts: 3,252 Group: =SB= Kings Member #9,868 Joined: March 28, 2009	If I would have to guess I would say Cy-Fox may have done this as part of some April Fools joke as from what I can tell only he and Neo are able to edit the forum in this way and since Neo has been inactive for a while I can see no other person able to do this. As part of the Admin staff I offer my sincerest apologies to you and anyone else who has been effected negatively by this and I assure you this will be rectified as soon as possible.

Not the response I was expecting, (I was expecting some backlash) but thank you for taking my complaint seriously and apologizing. Now that I think about it... if it was one of them, well they are both American so obviously it's not like they did it to be offensive. However, I don't want any of the non-Americans seeing it and just thinking it's all a big joke, (and not the April Fool's kind of joke)... that's what irks me. (EDIT: I've just confirmed it was indeed for April 1st, and it will be changed soon. Sorry for kinda blowing up, I guess I just have a strong sense of national pride.)
