Microsoft is back to their anti-consumer ways it seems. They have region locked all downloaded games and DLC. In the fallout of their E3 in 2013 they promised to do away with region locked content. It's crap like this that pisses me off. You have companies out there that try to make the best products to their vision to win over consumers then you have Microsoft that takes a steamy dump on their consumers. How long till they go back on their word and bring back online DRM? Hmmm? If Sony and Nintendo pulled this I would be equally as pissed at them. I just hope their policies don't bleed into other companies like EA and other big publishers because that will be bad.

oh, but EA is known to be bad enough already. it looks like infamy is a title to be fought over, as far as Microsoft is concerned.

To be perfectly honest, I wouldn't really trust a companys word on most things.

Though in fairness, it is wiser to keep your word, less you look completely and utterly untrustworthy in front of your customers. Otherwise, you may have a fanbase/consumer base who begin to question buying anything from you at all.

Ain't that right Capcom?

Well Sony does have the option to have Region-locks in place to be fair. They just leave it up to the developers. Not sure if that's still true for the PS4.

Either way this effects me zip. Was never going to buy an Xbone in the first place.
