"Baby steps...hehe," Yvette said, giggling as she felt Champ messing with her hair. She let out a happy sigh before she softly picked up Champ and handed him to Twilight. "Well, I best be getting what I need from here and going home. Sun's going down so it would be best if you get yourself at a safe place," Yvette said with a smile. "See ya around," she said while reaching out and hugging Twilight. |

"Yeah. I feel in order to control it, I need to unleash it more... and well... not thanks. I prefer to keep it concealed like I do now thanks to the UV lights." Twilight replied. He gently grabbed the small gray creature and held him with one arm, but that didn't last long as Champ had quickly climbed to the top of his head, smiling gleefully. The Lycalo looked at the darkening sky and let out a sigh "Yeah, that'd be best. It was good seeing you, Yvette. Do you have a number I can contact you by real quick?" he asked. |

Yvette reached out a slip and quickly wrote her number on it with a pen. She smiled as she handed it over to Twilight. She flicked her hair up since it was covering her eye. "Here it is. Just don't text it because it's a home phone, haha. Just call when you have time," she said with a chuckle. She looked at Champ and couldn't help, but giggle. |

Twilight took the slip with a smile and stuffed it into his front right pocket. "Thanks, I'll definitely do that." he replied with a series of nods. He then looked up to the bubbly Chao who was now playing with his hair. "Ready to go home buddy?" the Lycalo asked Champ. The small scatterbrained companion nodded excitedly and continued to babble on with his kind's language. With that said, Twilight looked one more time at the canine. "Alrighty. So I'll see ya'll tomorrow. It definitely sounds fun." he stated with another smile. At this point, his cobalt blue wings outstretched, losing their natural curved edges. "Enjoy the rest of your night, Yvette." the Lycalo finished as he bent his knees. Champ appeared to want to get excersice of his own and flapped his cyan and green wings then proceeded to float beside his master. With a mighty leap, Twilight took off into the late afternoon sky with his buddy close behind. |

Yvette smiled as she saw the blue Lycalo take off. She then, turned to her left and proceeded to head to the store. She had a feeling that this year was going to be a great year for everybody. The crime rate in the city has been extremely low since her last adventure involving Fotiagos, Twilight, and Terrador. Everything seemed to run smooth now and she was rarely called in for duty since it was all small work. The sun was already submerged into the horizon by the time Yvette made it home. It was dark and she was a bit exhausted from the long walk, but did it for an exercise while off duty. She walked into the house with a smile on her face as she waited to see her lover. |

As Yvette entered the house, Fotiagos was in the room they shared attending to a wound on his right side. He wore only a pair of black pants along with his red and blue shoes. The wolverine had remained in the industry of bounty hunting and had traveled to other regions in search of work. Now that he had something to lose, he was even more careful with covering up his tracks. He retained his icy exterior while on the job, but always showed his significant other warmth and unquestionable love. His fur was less shaggy, although still somewhat long, and his previous attire had been reduced to a work uniform of sorts. His acute ears twitched to the sound of the door opening and on instinct, he went to see who it was. They had never had any unexpected visitors, but he had learned one cannot be too careful. It surprised him he never answered the door holding a knife or his swords as he thought that would cause some tension. Of course as the green wolf made her entry, he instantly greeted her with a warm smile. "Yvette. I'm glad you're home my dear." the Thermomancer said with glee, wincing briefly as he walked towards her. His fur concealed the stitches in his side, but there was a great deal of heat emanating from the wound. Yvette would likely discover he had an injury within a matter. He never liked her to worry and would always do his best to hide his wounds, deceptive as it may be. He was solely concerned with her well being after all. (That's one thing I've added to Fotiagos. His blood is both flammable and cryogenic. Depending on the side of his body, the injury will either combust into flames or freeze over, leaving behind a rippling heat wave or chilling mist once it heals.) |

Yvette wrapped her arms around Fotiagos with joy as she gave him a soft kiss, not noticing the wound in the beginning. It was when she backed up that she grew an indifferent look from the sight of the wound. She sighed and turned her heads towards Fotiagos with one of her eyebrows up in concern. She gave a light smile to her lover, as if she was not surprised at all from the sight of a wound, especially from a rough man like him. "So, what happened this time that you have been hurt?" she asked with a giggle with one hand on his shoulder, and the other carrying the bags filled with food and drinks. She had a feeling that he was out not that long ago and noticed that the wound was healing pretty fast. |
