I absolutely loved the Generations redo on that same battle. It was fast and loads of fun. I also really enjoyed Metal Madness and Metal Overlord from Sonic Heroes. I think the soundtrack did it for me in that game. I also really enjoyed fighting all forms of Chaos in Sonic Adventure. Loads of fun. The worst boss I had experience with was Time Eater in Sonic Generations. It took forever and I still don't understand how to beat him. I remember I just did and never went back to him ever again.

Sonic Crossroads 6 years ago, I began a fangame project called "Pure Shadow". I cancelled the project due to lack of time and other priorities. Now that I'm in college, and have loads of more time, I found the file and began to pick it up again. After refreshing my memory of all the coding put into the engine, I decided to use it to write a new project. Drawing out a new plot and new gimmicks for the project, I decided to rename this project called Sonic Crossroads. This project is going to be completed in Game Maker 8 PRO coded by myself and my friend who goes by the alias, MastaaFrederick. Because of our lack of experience in many aspects to increase enjoyability (such as music, artistry, animation, etc.), we want to develop a small team to work on this project. Anyone who is interested, please message me. On top of these things, we want to create a new antagonist for the story. We, MastaaFrederick and I, need a whole new character concept. We want the most creative fan character we can find, and create a sprite sheet for this character. We would like to find a character via messenger. Demo for the fangame coming soon.

Too bad, because its my favourite. Even though it was frustrating (i nearly threw my 3DS out of the window) when i completed it i cheered so much the old people next door shouted at me. Worst boss? Final boss from Sonic 1. When i was little i remember throwing my sisters Barbie at the Mega Drive, making the game crash, which got me even more mad. Now, i laugh at the final boss

Time Eater = just use Modern Sonic to boost up to the yellow bit on Eggman, and use Classic Sonic to collect the rings!!

I was playing the 3DS version, and its much more different. Theres no yellow bit, you boost up to him while he shoots rocks and throws massive rocks at you.

I still have issues with that boss to this day. :V As for the best boss gotta go with Mecha Sonic from S3K. You fight him 3 times if you're Sonic, and if you're Knuckles you fight his super form. I always thought he was much cooler than Metal Sonic. xP

Though there were some from the anime and comics that I liked better though. Most favorite Sonic Boss: The Egg Dragoon in Sonic Unleashed and Sonic Generations. Seriously, that thing had to be one of the most awesome Eggman Mechs ever! They really should add some more awesome bosses like that to future Sonic games. It was just so impressive. BTW, I like the Unleashed and Generations versions of the Egg Dragoon equally as much. Most disliked Sonic Boss: The Last Boss of Sonic Lost World. Seriously, that thing was so lackluster, and disappointing, and it could've been so much better. Almost all Sonic Last Bosses have practically blown me away with their awesomeness, except this one. Though I did like most of Sonic Lost World, but the ending parts were so disappointing, especially the Last Boss. Edited by Shyna, Jan 29 2014, 03:51 PM.

Well Sonic Lost World's boss had to be the most lackluster and disappointing one yet, in my opinion, and one of the not so good parts of Sonic Lost World. Here's an image macro I made of it, using clips from Xionic Madness 4 part 1, an episode of this Internet series I like. This describes exactly how I felt about the Last Boss of Sonic Lost World (BTW, I use this scene a lot to describe my feelings about any Last Boss fight that I really disliked for some reason). Seriously, I could come up with a way better ending than what was in Sonic Lost World.

There series ended quite well. In terms of Sonic bosses. The worst boss: Time Eater. Really, it's not a hard choice as he falls into the category too easily. There's literally no feedback in whether you're doing something right or wrong, which often times will leave you confused in what to do. The cheers and instructions from outside character isn't too helpful in beating him either. Since it's already been talked about, I'll glare are some other boss. Dark Gaia. While the Sonic sections of it was alright, it was still borderline. I get that there's a time limit in getting from start to end and that's understandable. However, when it results in you having to play Chip's part in the battle, well the epicness of a final boss just falls flat. SLOWLY "boost" to the boss, then once you finally reach him the "quick time event" is a just a one button push to get hit. Chip's section in the last battle was utterly boring, and underplayed this END OF THE WORLD MONSTER boss so hard. Super Sonic part was alright, but the build up to it was crap. Best Sonic boss: Chaos. The whole game builds this boss up pretty well, with the good doctor ensuring that matters worsen throughout the game. Chaos seem like a legit threat. You even fight him multiple times in his various forms, with different characters, too. In the end, Perfect Chaos because the monster that I expected. Whether it be in Sonic Adventure or Sonic Generation, I still find a joy in battling him. E-101 Beta MK II. I swear, the story in Sonic Adventure was so good and despite that E-102 Gamma lived and died in the game, he was a bot to be remembered. The final boss HE had to face, though, does have this "Metal Sonic" complex in wanting to prove himself to be better. He's got a wicked look to him, too.

Character Select Posts: 12 Group: E+ Rank Adventurer Member #13,401 Joined: January 17, 2013 Game Currently Playing: Sonic Adventure 2 PC	Worst: - Eggman's Bumper Walker Thing (Palmtree Panic) - Sonic CD Straightforward and obvious. Yes, it's the first level, but I would at LEAST expect just a bit of a challenge! At least Sonic 2's first level boss had a visible weapon. One could say Sonic 1's was rather challenging. Here in Sonic CD we got a walker that moves towards you, seems to have no obvious forms of weaponry, and has these big brightly-colored bumpers that practically just say "HIT ME". - Time Eater (Final Boss) - Sonic Generations Lame, somewhat frustrating, and annoying. The "Time Eater" has his name taking to literal extremes as he basically eats up the time of player making them control Classic and Modern Sonic, with most of the boss being spent boosting towards it while dodging a bunch of attacks and tossing the controller once he slows time during a 2D segment. On top of that, you got the other characters yelling nonsense at you. As a boss, it's not very fun. He definitely eats your time, that's for sure. Best: - Time Eater (Final Boss) - Sonic Generations 3DS Honestly, while the rest of the game paled in comparison to the console version (but was still enjoyable), the Time Eater felt to me to be done WAY better. There's a bit more crud to worry about, and it's less difficult, but it seems to be done in a different way that makes it kinda fun. Where in the console version you chased him through a tunnel for the entirety of the fight, here you do it through the 2D/Classic Sonic segments, while the Modern segments are full behind-the-back view (ironically, since the rest of the game didn't have that for Modern Sonic, and the console Modern Sonic bits in Time Eater weren't behind the back), in which case you had to look for the TE and travel around him and smash him in his core. Much more fun than the console version, albeit slightly less hard. Certainly memorable. - Egg Emperor (Final Boss) - Sonic Heroes Honestly I enjoyed this immensely. The actual fight was tough yet enjoyable, and the atmosphere helped with that (I'll show you real evil!), along with the rockin' guitar riff in the background. Having Eggman in a large, samurai-esque robot rapidly slashing away at you while you and your team boost towards him made for definitely a more memorable boss experience.
	"Hey look it's Sanerkkkk!" - Egoraptor Geezers, years and years and I finally got to play Sonic Adventure 2. It's great, the emerald hunt and mech battle modes really slow down the game though. :/ Maybe it's just me. Sonic fan, for years and years, and still am. Glad to see Sonic and Mario don't wanna rip each other limb from limb.
