The website explains that it is a hybrid home console that will use backwards compatibility to play WiiU and 3DS titles. The console is reported to have two parts; The Fusion DS and The Fusion Termnial. The Fusion DS will play handheld games and the Fusion Terminal will play console games. How they work together isn't reported, but a grand list of specs in the console were reported in the entry that Nintendo News posted. I wasn't aware of this, but the WiiU had really bad sales. They went from 9 million copies sold to 2.8 million copies in the last year. That's a pretty big drop. I don't own a WiiU, but I have borrowed one and I do like the system. I don't know how I feel about another console hitting the market so soon. I mean like, I don't even have a WiiU yet. Some games are coming up that everyone is stoked for, Super Smash Bros. WiiU specifically, and I feel that game alone might boost some sales, but who knows. It's exciting to hear, but this is also a rumor not 100% in stone. Any thoughts?

Sonic Crossroads 6 years ago, I began a fangame project called "Pure Shadow". I cancelled the project due to lack of time and other priorities. Now that I'm in college, and have loads of more time, I found the file and began to pick it up again. After refreshing my memory of all the coding put into the engine, I decided to use it to write a new project. Drawing out a new plot and new gimmicks for the project, I decided to rename this project called Sonic Crossroads. This project is going to be completed in Game Maker 8 PRO coded by myself and my friend who goes by the alias, MastaaFrederick. Because of our lack of experience in many aspects to increase enjoyability (such as music, artistry, animation, etc.), we want to develop a small team to work on this project. Anyone who is interested, please message me. On top of these things, we want to create a new antagonist for the story. We, MastaaFrederick and I, need a whole new character concept. We want the most creative fan character we can find, and create a sprite sheet for this character. We would like to find a character via messenger. Demo for the fangame coming soon.

It is clearly fake. I mean seriously, the report came days after reports of sales and now just so conveniently a rumor detailing a new console emerges. Yeah, no. Nintendo's been in far worst situations before anyway, they wouldn't give up so soon. It would be offending to the fans. I don't just doubt the rumor, I know the rumor is obviously fake.

Posts: 2,305 Group: S Rank Hero Member #12,433 Joined: October 2, 2011 Gender: Male	I don't even think Nintendo would dare launch a new console with the Wii U already pitted against the Xbox One and PS4. Smash Bros Wii U is sure to sell a few ten thousand consoles, if not hundred thousands. Once that launches, I plan on buying it myself. Along with Scribblenauts, Wonderful 101, and MAYBE Lost World.. But I think this has got to be a hoax.
