Everytime I log back on, the quote notification counts all of my quotes since it was put in to action, including the ones I already checked. I don't think it's supposed to do that.

That's what I do. Furthermore, I don't recommend staying logged on at a computer used by more than one person.

Is there a way to mark them all as read somehow? Or to go a step further, is there a way to toggle whether you receive them or not? I feel like if you're going to have something like this you ought to have a way for people who don't want it to opt out.

Maybe you did? Um it is annoying, hopefully there will be something to correct it. It's a nice feature that I don't really want to get rid of...
