Alright, so like, Im dating this guy. He is so sweet and amazing and I truly love him. However he goes to university 569.75 miles away. Add that to the fact that our very religious families (His is Catholic and mine are Protestant) hate us for being in love... Its stressful as all hell. I mean, he visits when he can but when he leaves, Idk, the distance stresses us both and that stress builds up and explodes in the form of a fight... Ialso need advice on how to make his parents like me

Translation of the Irish: I am a boy from Ireland and I'd coax a nice young girl,
I wouldn't ask for a dowry with her, I'm rich enough myself,
I own Cork, big as it is both sides of the glen and Tyrone,
And if I don't change my ways I'll be the heir for County Mayo.

well I think its a mixture of religion, my past, and plain old fashioned snobbery. Im not rich at all, they are. I had a very... traumatic... childhood. It caused PTSD and manic depression... And they are Catholic, Im Protestant. I have no issues with ANY religon but they do. They also claim I corrupted Seth and damned him to hell
