To discuss it, I would assume. Which for the most part people have. Some better than others. I didn't know about it until this thread popped up so it brought some awareness, at least. |

Well, just seeing how he has an angry youtube video in the intro and is pulling theories out of nothing in his posts so far made me assume otherwise. xP *shrug* I never make a topic for something I don't like usually. |

I object to your claims

I'll have to echo what Pianta said; This is just something for kids that their parents can buy so they don't have to spend extra money on all the bells and whistles that kids don't care about like the internet connection. It's perfectly harmless and Nintendo has a shit ton of money at their disposal so they won't go bankrupt or anything from it, and their still focusing on their current systems so those aren't going to suffer. Oh, but I hear you saying 'but the Wii has been dead for a while! There isn't anything to buy for the system!' Haven't you been to Walmart and them? Retailers are still selling Wii games. Maybe not as much as they had been when the system was still alive, but they're still out there. And if anyone is thinking; "Yeah, but most of them those crappy shovelware games!' allow me to rephrase something; This is just something for kids. I don't know about you, but when I was a kid, my tastes were a hell of a lot different then they are now. Kids don't really care about the same stuff we do as adults - they're far easier to please and they'd probably have a blast with some of those games. Plus they're cheap, so that pleases parents. Seems fairly reasonable to me. |

I'm not sure how much to take of this guy. I recall there was someone who looked/sounded similar to him who seemed to really inflate the crap out of things. You have to realize a journalist gets their money/fame/whatever by inflating their stories, either on the info they get or what that info could mean. That said though, the Wii mini, while was a ok thing for Canada, makes no sense to release here. They are basically competing with themselves. The similar names and cheaper price will confuse nongamers or those who don't keep up with such news. I can see that this will cause confusion and will weaken Wii U sales cause people think the Wii Mini is a Wii U or something. |

Walkers, Walkers everywhere

It wouldn't be so much of a problem for me if Nintendo would drop the price, because let's face it it's way too high, and would advertise the Wii U more, as marketing isn't their strength to begin with. Nothing but the lack of an SD card slot bothers me about it, meaning if it fails you can't backup your save data |

well.... the lack of internet might be a problem. suppose I want to play MegaMan X or Super Metroid.... well nvm it's on my brother's wii. and I would just watch netflix on the computer anyway.... not much for multiplayer games, and I already play EVE Online for my human interaction fix. ...eh. I just might get one so I can play my sonic games and stuff. well hey, is it compatible with wii fit? if I can't use the balance board (or other such peripherals) with it, it would be a huge problem. |
