Amid the Ruins? Thought that was a typo. But huh, what does that title mean? I at least understood the others.

It means they are amidst the ruins? They went to the mountains afterall... at least some familiar characters going to be back that chapter so that's good. Maybe they found Tavia's camp? Who knows... there's not much else to say about it. Gotta wait.

I was so excited when I saw that Christa and Omid were back and reunited with Clem, and that Christa's belly was so big. But when Omid died literally in the first 10 minutes, I was so upset. The good guy, the comic relief, the awesome Omid who avoided death when his leg got hurt, is now dead? Gosh...

Christa really turned cold-hearted after his death, didn't she? I mean, you can't blame her. But even 16 months later she still seems quite bent out of shape.

Also, am I the only one wondering what happened to her baby? I mean, we saw from the show that a baby can be taken care of at least for a little bit, but by one woman and one little girl? Probably not. Was the baby stillborn? Well, it was obviously still growing after Christa's whole falling and binge-drinking bit in the first season, so maybe it was stillborn, but from different causes. Did she have the baby and kill it/abandon it? Why was there no mention of this at all? I mean, yeah, leave us wondering and speculating... But that could've been some free emotionally tear-jerking opportunities right there with maybe even an additional difficult player choice or two thrown in. Why did they completely avoid this? I wouldn't have, had I had anything to do with the development of the game. Perhaps there's a reason for it.

And WHO was Clem talking about at the end? I really hope it's Kenny. I don't like Lilly. It'd be cool if they both came back though. I think it's pretty obvious that Kenny isn't supposed to be dead at the end of last season. And it's clear that Kenny can fend for himself. He was about to go off by himself at least once in last season, and he always was able to make decent/smart decisions right there alongside Lee (even though Kenny sometimes wanted the more heartless option such as when he was convincing Lee to leave the screaming girl as bait or trying to kill Lilly's father.) Plus, he's got that tough, angry, redneck, just-lost-his-whole-family mentality that would give him a fierce fighting spirit. Did he survive? I bet. Will he show back up? I wouldn't doubt it, and I sincerely hope so. As I've stated numerous times before, Kenny is my absolute favorite character, and I will leap for joy if he makes a reappearance.
