Good vibes.

So, now you can recommend those games you like and would like others to play. To start things off, I'm quite interested in the Atari 2600. What games would you recommend for that system? |

Honestly I thought it was for something else. The Atari 2600s library is largely unknown to me. |

Well I suggest you stay away from ET if anything. The atari version of Pac Man looks alright, but I have never played it so I'm not sure if it plays like the original. Asteroids is a pretty fun game as well and personally don't care for Breakout but you might enjoy it. |

So, because my Xbox doesn't like to work very well, I'm replacing it with my old N64. Which I don't have that many games for. I'd like to know what games you guys would recommend for me. They have to be cheap, though, so say ones that not as many people have heard of. |

"I didn't use the whole thing ...."

Blast Corps A much forgotten gem of the N64 Library and difficult as hell to beat with plenty of hidden extras. |

The Jaw-ggernaught of Justice.
|
Ok. You like shooter games Finite? I would recommend Goldeneye, Perfect Dark. You like Adventure games? I recommend Kirby 64: The crystal Shards. This game was one of my faves and still is. Bomberman Hero isn't bad either. I liked Mario Party 2 and 3. Great early parties that seem to have been the best. Only a few, because the N64 Wii VC is lacking. Zelda OoT is good too, if you're into that sort of thing. |

Launch Base Act 1

For N64, I second the recommendations for Kirby 64 and Zelda OoT, also adding Majora' Mask to that list. Super Smash Bros is another great one..Star Fox 64, Donkey Kong 64.. I'm sure more will pop in my head..64 had a great library. I don't know much about Atari either

I object to your claims

I can't think of games that many people haven't played off the top of my head, but I would gladly reccomend Super Smash Bros. Sure, the sequels have been an improvement in pretty much every way, but it's still a damn fun game to play. Also, you should definitly pick up Paper Mario. Don't let the cutsie paper graphics fool you - it's a wonderful game. |

Flying Battery Act 2

I have one top recommendation: Body Harvest. You know the guys who make Grand Theft Auto, Rockstar North? They used to be called DMA Design, and they created Body Harvest way back in 1998. You could say this game is like a spiritual prequel to the 3D GTA games that would start appearing in 2001. It has many similarities: - a big open world where you are free to explore just about any part of the map, if you have the right vehicle - an amazing variety vehicles scattered throughout the world, most of which you are free to use at any time you like. Vehicles include cars, trucks, helicopters, tanks, boats, planes (including fighter jets), mobile artillery pieces, trains, etc. - missions that unlock more of the map to explore - civilians running around that you can run over if you want (although you definitely DON'T want to in this game) But instead of doing the usual GTA thing, your goal in every level in Body Harvest is to prevent a swarm of bug aliens from killing/capturing humans. Your progression through the game is also relatively linear compared to any GTA game today, but for the time it was still an impressive amount of freedom to take your own path to objective points through a big open world. I remember completing a level and then just spending a lot of time simply exploring the cleared level with all of the helicopters, planes, and fast cars I found. |
