I love everyone's designs..but knuckles. I don't like how huge the upper part of his body is. Sonic is fine the only complaint I have is the blue arms  .... aside from that I adore Amy's new attire.She looks so much older now and Tails just looks so adorable. |

Everyone keeps mentioning Sonic's new blue arms, but honestly I didn't even notice them until everybody started pointing it out. Guess it's just not a huge deal to me. And yes, Tails is super cute in all this. Love him <3 |

I just wish they could put some more detail into the whole thing. It would be cool to see the stitching on the gloves or the bumps on Sonic's nose like we usually do, as well as some more fluid, lifelike physics and animation. |

Well there's still hope. As stated before, this isn't the final product. I'm sure the graphics will get an amazing upgrade by the time this comes out. |

This looks......interesting. My legions of soulless thralls do not know what to think and either do I. On one hand, I shall enjoy seeing Sonic on TV but on the other hand some things irk me. For one, knuckles' design is quite jarring. I mean, it makes sense for him to be buff, being a very physical, bruiser-type of character normally. However, showing off his strength by making him look buffer rather then feats of strength like he did before is a bit jarring visibly for anybody who grew up with his old look. However, I understand the purpose behind it; with all his physical strength knuckles SHOULD logically look buff. It may not be what old school fans like myself are used to but from a logical standpoint the re-design does make sense and I can see why they did it despite how jarring it may be for me. Eggman's new design, however, just doesn't feel right to me at all. While he retains his personality looks-wise you can immediately see one thing that's off: he's not fat. Eggman is fat. He always was fat and should always be kept fat. That was a major part of Eggman's character design and part of what made him such a nice visual contrast to sonic. Sonic was the small, speedy, streamline, spiky hedgehog who ran at breakneck speeds while Robotnik/Eggman was the big, bulbous, round, fat guy who lazily road around in a hovercraft.(Though admittedly when he actually is forced to run he has surprising speed despite.) This is really just nitpicking by me though and I will give the series credit where it is due: the whole "burnbot" joke got some laughs out of me and was pretty darn funny. That may just be my sophomoric sense of humor but if the show delivers jokes on-par and better then that on a consistent basis I can safely say that it will do decent with it's goal of being "comedic". When I heard that "Burn-Bot" joke, I immediately thought of the Egg Devil Ray from Sonic Unleashed, which looks nothing like a Devil Ray, but more like a Barracuda. Another case of "Eggman False Advertising." |

The series will apparently utilize Negative Continuity. Imagine the possibilities that could bring? We could have stuff like Sonic turning into a monkey at the end only to be completely normal later... |

It's a 52 episode cartoon. They have a lot of episodes to make and spending that much time on all of them would take too long/be too costly. For an 11 minute long show it looks fine. General thoughts: I like the writing. It's the sort of humour I enjoy, though having Eggman mislabel a robot is kind of irksome considering he's supposed to have an IQ of 300. Maybe he's not quite as smart in this continuity? Animation looks alright, voice work is pretty top notch. All in all, looking forward to the show. Should be good. |

Say, I wonder if Eggman will have a new set of reoccurring, slightly-incompetent assistants, like he has in almost every other Sonic continuity. In Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog, he had Scratch, Grounders, and Coconuts. In Archie Sonic, he had Grimer and Snively. In Sonic X, he had Decoe, Bocoe, and Bokkun. In the newer Sonic, and the more recent Archie series, he had Orbot and Cubot. Will Eggman have a new set of assistants in Sonic Boom, or is he going to be doing stuff mostly by himself, and with minor, one-appearance robots who aren't reoccuring? |

I'd place my bets on Orbot and Cubot personally. But I get the nagging feeling that he might just work alone this time, discounting the Robot of the Week he'll bring in to cause trouble. |

I think Eggman's IQ is rather fluid depending on if they want him to be the butt of a joke or not. I'm still holding out hope for the show and honestly, for an eleven minute long episodical we shouldn't be asking for too much detail, the details are fine and wasn't that trailer just a little teaser? Surely by time it's released they will have listened to the feedback/comments etc and make some minor changes, but I don't expect a full overhaul on anything too costly. |

Well, more stuff has been revealed for Sonic Boom A new character is appearing in Sonic Boom, and she's called "Sticks The Badger." She's a totally new character, although she looks rather similar to Marine The Raccoon from Sonic Rush Adventure. Not much else has been said about her, except that she's going to be one of Sonic and Co.'s new allies in Sonic Boom, and she wields a boomerang as her weapon of choice. .... SHE'S A HOBBIT!! Could've used Marine, but at the SAME TIME I'm certain that people would complain about that simply because she was annoying? -shrug- No comment on the new character. Just gotta she what she does that's important to the game. |
