Source http://androidcommunity.com/ea-and-mythic-to-release-dungeon-keeper-for-android-this-winter-20130821/ Just as my views on humanity and gaming seem to be in darkness, this stuff always seems to cement how I feel about gaming. The graphics are nice but it does not have the dark that came with the series. Not only that, its one of those crap, multi-player, free-to-play(or rather, Pay-to-win) games where we get to see yet another franchise thats been in the gutter for years turn into something its not and the "developers" put in charge completely missing the point of the series, its humor, and just about every little thing. But I guess thats what EA is now, a company whos very touch turns everything to crap. http://www.gametrailers.com/side-mission/60143/ea-we-dont-deliver-offline-experiences-anymore-free-to-play-part-of-every-ea-franchise Boy I can't wait til offline games like Mass Effect and what not be turned into husks of what they could be, all because of this ungodly evil. Course some of you will point out "We voted EA worst company ever (number of years) straight!" Good for you, too bad no body will stop throwing money at them to keep them alive. That will actually do something. With Nintendo seeming to get worse, stuck in the past and losing money, I can only imagine they will get bought out by EA. I can't wait to see what they turn Mario, Zelda, and other such games into seeing as they are apparently too big to fail now and only the destruction of humanity and/or the universe will stop them. I have lost all hope in the gaming industry. |
