The video above shows a nice preview, with tons of new information as well as info you might have missed. Also info I gathered from other sources. Hero Mode confirmed in Wind Waker HD. It appears to be similar to Skyward Sword's. Which means double damage, skippable cut scenes, and no heart drops from the environment. Unlike Ocarina of Time 3D's Master Quest though, this is available right at the start of the game for veterans. Only three sea charts required for triforce hunt instead of the eight in the original. I guess I'll take it. For those who don't remember, the triforce hunt was notorious for taking a long time to complete, also stopping you from the final dungeon and endgame. I didn't mind it as much as other people but it's really the one issue in the game. I'm glad Nintendo is actually addressing it. Faster sailing. Called the Swift Sail, you apparently get it from the auction house after the first dungeon. Will make sailing much faster. You can take selfies in Wind Waker HD. Link. You can also share them with Miiverse. (I'm laughing hard at the possibilities. Imagine Link taking a selfie with the fire scorpion boss whose name I forget behind him.) You can play through the entire game in first-person. Tingle's Island is mandatory. It kinda already was but now it's straight up inserted into the plot. Will be impossible to miss now. Not a bad thing though. Tingle Bottle replaces Tingle Tuner. Used to send messages to other players playing WWHD. Messages and screenshots can be sent to a random player via Miiverse. Supports off TV play with the GamePad. GamePad also integrated into gameplay. Looks like you can tilt the GamePad to aim bow and arrow. Speaking of bow and arrow, you can move through hallways and shoot arrows like a FPS. And I might have missed some. But man, depending how much the triforce hunt is improved, this could be a nearly flawless game and perhaps be my favorite Zelda. Anyone else getting this? If this game gets bundled with a Wii U, might finally be the time for me to pick one up. Need this along with Pikmin 3. EDIT: Ah, wait. I was going to get it sooner, but considering this bundle, I'll gladly wait the rest of the month out to get this bundle! Sonic Lost Worlds, the new Donkey Kong game, to name a few Ive wanted to get. I do hope the Wii U library gets better(Still holding hope for a Star Fox game, or hell, for the original to be put on the virtual console. I do know I plan to get Earthbound).
