Emphasis added; this is a good reason for people to be concerned. So, my advice, first off, is to take a step back and figure out just why it is you're attracted to Sonic like that.
	Indeed, there is nothing more repulsive than these monsters that defy nature and are known by the name of witcher, as they are the offspring of foul sorcery and witchcraft. They are unscrupulous scoundrels without conscience and virtue, veritable creatures from hell capable only of taking lives. They have no place amongst decent and honest folk.

Aside from what Smashmaster up there suggested, you might want to think twice about saying things so... extreme.

I'm having a hard time myself because no one at my school likes Sonic. It's frowned apon and I get bullied about it all the time. At my school it's all about Mario. I don't really speak geek. I know a lot about video games but not about technology. You know the Olympics crossover games? Or Super Smash Brothers Brawl? Those have both Mario and Sonic; maybe try to turn the conversation over to those if you're familiar with them, and use that to nudge it further to the Sonic side of the discussion.
