Damien thought for a second. "Well, it's what they want you to think, right?" King H: Yes, and I do believe they will attack when lest expected. Ivan: Or they could be setting up there attack as we speak. Performing small deeds to seperate the troops from everywhere else in order to hit at the root. Lossal: Hmmm..... or there just toying with us. It could just be nothing at all. King H: I highly doubt it'd be nothing.... Necromancers only exist for one thing: to kill. Ivan: ..... Damien: Traps? Send one or two valuable people out to investigate? King H: I'll have to talk about Ezra and Emma about it. Ruby's specialty isn't investigation of any kind... Unless you have someone in mind Dame? Damien: "Hm... definitely, Ruby's out of the question. Who was that exotic kid we met at the feast?" Ivan: His name... I think it was Amon. I do believe he's with Emerald. Damien: He is quick on his feet, yes? Ivan: From what Ezra's daughter had implied, he's not a fast runner but he's got a sharp mind and quick reflex's. Damien: Someone fetch the boy. Before that, we need a second person to accompany Mr... uh, his last name? Ivan: Thats the problem, we were never informed of the guys last name. Lossal: I shall go search for him. I must also check on my pupils. King H: Lossal, I think you should stay here, we shall send someone else to get him. Lossal: Very well.... (I hope those guys haven't injured themselves seriously). Damien: So who do you suppose would be up for the task? I would prefer a Sapphirian citizen. King H: hmm..... Snow did a good job tailing and getting info on the boy, I'd say she'd be a good choice to go on the mission. Damien: What skills has she got? Ivan: Dame, back in the war between sapphire and Ruby, she defeated a large amount of your troops single-handedly using the spirit lines Aura ability. How could you forget her?! Damien: *dumbfounded* Oh... now, I remember. Send her in. Lossal: Ahh.... so we have a Sapphire, and a Emerald character.... How about we send out a Rubieran to help guard them? Sapphire and Emerald may have better investigation skills, but there damage and defense isn't as great as a Ruby soldier, they may need the muscle on there side. Damien: Hm... What say you, Ivan? Ivan: Hmmm...... If we send out a well known Ruby Soldier like one of ourselves, that would be an easy target for the enemies eyes... they'd surely look for us. I'd say send an experienced fighter in.... Lossal: Actualy, Ivan. This might be a mission that my pupils could undertake to get a better view on how missions go. Damien: Pardon me, Lossal, but I object to your amateur group on undertaking such a dangerous task. Have you not grasped the fact that your troublesome member almost got his arse handed to? Lossal: He does need training, but one doesn't learn from just training alone. They must forgo dangerous tasks sometimes to gain true experience. Damien: True, but they will just be getting in the way. They're peasants. They don't know anything. King H: Stop! both of you, I've decided on who I wish to send. *everyone looked at King H, awaiting his reply* I'm sending the Cyborg bat that was at the feast. Damien: What...? Cyber? Ivan: Your Majesty are you sure? King H: Yes, this is my final decision. and his underlings Leyak and Roald may join with him. I hear he works best when alongside those two. Damien: Your Highness, reconsider. King H: Dame, You seem concerned, how come? Damien: I prefer not to say. Just... let me talk to him personally. King H: *sigh* Make it quick, we aren't sure when or where the enemy could strike. this Meeting has come to a close. I must speak with the others to confirm our decision about sending Snow and Amon. Damien: Yes, your Highness. *exits the room* Ivan: What shall you order us to do your majesty? King H: Lossal, your free to check up on your apprentices, Ivan, I want you to keep your ears and eyes peeled, the necromancers have there ways of turning minions into what would appear to be a citizen, I know your eyes can see past there disguises, make sure there are no enemy spies within the city. Mac: Father, I have returned. Ezra: My son, where have you been? Mac: The bandits, they are progressing through the woods, they're becoming really active. and have been doing much training. I've also heard from General Lossal that there was a necromancer within the area. Ezra: a Necromancer? *Ezra ponders around on this fact for a bit* Ahhh.... this isn't good news. We must let the others know *knocking on the door and then it proceeds to open with King H and his brother Datto coming in* King H: King Ezra, we need to talk about something. Ezra: Ahh, King Hammerhead. What is it? King H: We've had discussion about things, Lossal has reported bandits and necromancers joining together. Ezra: I see, Mac, bring Verata and Rurik in here, they need to hear about this. *Emma and Iria walk in the room together behind King H* Emma: You called for me King Hammerhead? King H: Yes, as I stated before, bandits and necromancers have been joining together. We can't allow them to catch us unaware. The Generals and Myself had a discussion over this a while ago. Ezra, Emma. We wish to use some of your units in an investigation party. Ezra: Whom do you wish to choose from myself? *Mac, Rurik and Verata re-enter* King H: I wish to have Snow and Amon be in the investigation. Do you accept? Mac: No! Don't send her.... send me! King H: Mac, old friend. I know you care for her. But we can't have well known soldiers such as yourself in an investigation party. If the enemy were to find out. they would certainly go out of there way to destroy the prince of sapphire. Your sister is the only other with great battle experience without a well known presence. Ezra: My son, calm down. Put trust in your sister, she isn't weak you know. Mac: .....Father, I can't accept this decision. If you do, don't expect me to not go on that group with her. Ezra: Hmm.... Rurik: Mac, It shall be alright. She isn't going alone. She will have others alongside her. Mac: .... Fine. *walks up to King H* If my sister doesn't come back in one piece. Its gonna be your ass I'm coming for Hammerhead. *walks out the door*. King H: If that's how you'll be, I will accept it, old friend. Ezra: .....*thinking to self, Just let him calm down... he will be fine within time.* King H, I've decided to allow Snow into the group. King H: Thank you Your majesty. What of you Queen Emma? Emma: Well... If it promotes the better welfare of the people, then I will allow it. Just make sure that he doesn't get killed. Iria: *to self, Well if he's going.... He's going to need my help for sure... I'll just keep undercover until the time is right.* Datto: Brother, I shall go and see to it that the two are informed. King H: Very well. Ezra: I do believe this meeting is closed? King H: Actually, I do believe that we need to keep a lookout in the town. Necromancers can turn there minions into what would appear to be a actual citizen. Macs group might come in good handy in keeping the streets safe. We don't want the enemy gathering info of what we are doing. Ezra: That is agreed upon. Emma: Preparation is the key. It will take some time before we are truly ready to begin any assaults or investigations. Give it time. King H: I will give it 1 year at most before we begin then. We can't allow the enemy to get the upper hand.
