Marble Garden Act 1
|
Zach jumped in fear and turned to see who had spotted them. It was Kelly. Of all people, there she stood in her casual green top and blue pants, all dolled up for the disheveled Zach. What exactly, he often times thought, did she see in him? Just your average prankster, slob, and possible outlaw. Zach, on the other hand, found not the slightest thing about her appealing. In fact, he swore it up and down. "What are you doing sneaking around, Kelly? Don't you uh," Zach asked, looking frantically at the sky. He was horrible at telling the time of day. "Shouldn't you be at home by now? And who is that?" He pointed at her partner standing shyly behind her. |

Hydrocity Act 2
|
Kelly: this is my cousin Jug, and what are you doing standing in a dark area like this? *she had walked up to Zach and looked around* tell me everything , or else. *she had smirked at him* Kelly didn't often threaten people, she usually bribed them, but when kelly threatened someone she never breaks that threat. --------------------- Character Introduction: Kelly Jones: as said above she is a girl who always follows zach around usualy in a secretive manner, she admires him greatly for his rebel-like, law breaking attitude and how he looks. Kelly often gets involved in Zachs schemes. Jug Jones: Jug gets pulled into Zachs rebelious stuff often, for a short amount of time , but the second he sees a way out , he will take that chance, he has no interest in breaking the laws, only to live a peaceful, and calm life. He is Kelly's cousin, and Jug's family originaly lived in the Emerald Kingdom before moving to Ruby Kingdom. They thought it was for the best. |

Marble Garden Act 1
|
Zach looked at Hans and Muddy who had joined beside him. Within a moment's time, the trio burst out laughing. "Gee... Kelly, I don't think Zach'll do that," Muddy said, taking out a candy bar and munching on it. Annoying smack noises broke the silence, cringing in everyone's ears. "How did you find us anyway?" Hans asked. "Zach made it perfectly clear we were alone." "And what's in it for you?" Zach asked. "Yer so nosy." Why tell her anyway? She was just going to thwart their plans, or worse yet, mess it up if she interfered or joined. She was a girl after all, and girls generally didn't understand the minds of boys like him. They were friends, sure, but their friendship didn't stand the test of time as much as with Hans and Muddy. She was often gone, and when she was around, she would emit a stalker-like behavior, following Zach at the most inopportune times and shoot him "weird" faces. Case in point, Zach found her rather creepy nowadays. He shook his head. |

Marble Garden Act 1

Zach sighed. He could not afford to delay if his plan was to happen at the right time and day. He told Kelly of their plans and ordered her and Jug to search for a guard's outfit. "You too, Jug. After all, you're too scared to go off without this prep. Hahaha," Zach said crudely. Muddy sighed and Hanson palmed himself in the face. ~~~ Within the heart of Libra lay the G.E.M. headquarters. There was an ever-functioning building imitating a base as well as a vast open field for trainees out back. While supervising a squad of low-rank soldiers, Marcus - or Cyber as they code-named him - lit up a cigarette and placed it up to his mouth. He consciously watched himself take in the first breath of toxic fumes before throwing the cigarette on the ground and stomping on it. "Commander, sir! This squad is doing perfectly well for their first or second try. I presume they'll be ready for the next step, don't you think?" he asked, saluting Thunderkeep Sapphire as he approached. Thunderkeep browsed the trainees. Some acquired excellent accuracy with bows, some with chopping down wood with swords, and some with casting magic on testing bottles containing a mysterious concoction. Specializing in swordsmanship himself, Cyber didn't have the slightest clue what insane elements were mixed in the banter. He wanted to label those magic wielders "demon worshipers", but refrained. He wasn't as cynical as the newbies expected him to be, as with any soldier to a higher-ranking soldier. "Keep up the good work, men... and er, women as well!" Cyber shouted at the trainees. A sign of praise emitted from his lips, crossing into a smile on his otherworldly countenance. There was a reason Cyber was his codename. It started him, but he lived with it. Cyber looked back at Thunderkeep, awaiting his reply. He let out a nervous chuckle. |

Hydrocity Act 2
|
Thunderkeep: hmm... I expect to see your crew perform faster. here a demonstration. as Thunderkeep walked up, he unsheathed his sword and with one stroke chopped a wooden log clean in half. Thunderkeep: If your sword users aren't speedy enough to chop a log in one strike, then they aren't fast enough, power isn't everything, archers, you're doing fine, but you need to be able to reload your arrows swifter, and casters... only go into a battle using spells you've actualy learned, going into a battle without knowledge of how to use the spell can harm your allies instead of your foes. Now then, Marcus. I expect that you understand what to do? If not tell me what it is you're not understanding. |

Cyber hesitated to reply. Instead, he resumed supervising the squad. He was, without a doubt, a newly promoted corporal, still relying on the assistance of his elders. He was only 24, having enlisted as a private at 18. By now, he acquired several abilities since his time at G.E.M. though none of which proved to be remotely special. Raising his sword in front on him, he charged up to a wooden block and with one swipe of his sword, chopped the log in half. Perhaps it was to show off his skills, but it was more of a demonstration than anything. "That is how you chop your enemy's head to pieces," Cyber said. "Isn't that right, Rangda brothers?" |

Hydrocity Act 2
|
Thunderkeep walked off with a grin on his face, he knew that if he could show Cyber a demonstration, that it would push him even further to becoming a well around fighter. He saw talent in Cyber, but he would have to get Cyber into a training mood in order for him to get stronger. He placed the Rangda brothers as the 2nd in commands in the group if so however Cyber wasn't around, he also saw great talent in them despite them being on the human race, who geneticaly weren't as gifted as most races. Roald: Correct. But... you're movement, can't you run a little swifter in battle? I mean I know you'll be heavily armed but your practicley running the speed that a fully armed soldior would run. For me it isn't a problem because I use a Lance. Leyak: Ahh... I see *examining the others* --------------------- Character Introdcution: Leyak Rangda: Leyak is a Soldior in 2nd command to Cyber, he is also one of Cybers closest friends, He one day hopes to surpass Cyber. It's more like a Mentor/student rivalry but even more like a friendship, Leyak is kind, but shows no mercy to his foes unless instructed to do so. He's a human and slightly Chubby. He's also married. His weapon(s) are: a Bomblance, basicaly a lance but with a Bomb Cannon attached into it, the Bombs don't shoot very far but they can make a great impact when they hit. Roald Rangda: Leyaks older brother, Roald is a human who takes military duty at a more serious term than most soldiors, in most cases he'd act like he were in charge, and usualy makes the decisions for his bosses due to the constant chain of good decisions he makes. However he declines being one responsible for a full group all the time, which is why he's under Cybers command and not leading his own team. He wields a Lance and throwing Javelins. he keeps a pack of 10 Javelins around him. They aren't much but he can do quite a bit with them, he's also been trained to use javeilns in a spear type attack as well, he's much more versatile in physical strength than his younger brother Leyak. But has a hard time following respect when disrespected. |

Marble Garden Act 1

Cyber examined the sword in his hand. The heaviness of its blade slowed down his speed. He turned over to Roald and asked, "So which weapon should I use?" As he waited for a reply, he walked over to a table displaying an arsenal of various weapons - hammer, longsword, dagger, etc. He wondered if by this point he knew what the difference was between blunt and sharp weapons. He wondered if he could actually take on the leader status. Why was he recommended anyway? (Short post.) |

Hydrocity Act 2
|
Roald: Well, I know you've been more adept in swords, but have you ever tried using a Scimitar? there curved, and ment for quick and small battles. But they're difficult to get the hang of due to the curve on it. Whatever it may seem, I just stick with my lance and javelin, piercing weapons have always been my forte. Leyak: Boss, we've heard that Prince Mac will be arriving here! |

Marble Garden Act 1

Cyber was just about to comment on Roald's suggestion of a scimitar until he heard Leyak's announcement. He felt his soul jump out of his body. In his mind, he quickly swam through the waves of anxiety. He knew how to keep it cool on the outside though. He used to not be able keep his composure. When he was a kid, his dying mother lent him over to his uncle, Derek Thomas. Derek had always wanted children, but was never smooth with the ladies. When he took Cyber - or Marc as he was originally called - Derek was overjoyed and brought him up on warfare, his primary interest. Derek also took him out to meet various military figures, and he knew - he chuckles quite often when he shares the story to his own friends - that Cyber would lose himself whenever he met high-ranking officials, especially the generals. His body shook violently and he would stutter his words as he struggled to shake the officials' hands and talk to them. He failed every single time. Then he met Damien Blackwell. Ever since the two met, it was as if a miracle had washed over him. Cyber eventually learned to control himself. He was, after all, a soldier too. "Halt, soldiers! The Prince is due to make his arrival promptly. During his stay, you are to behave civilized and work hard. As if Sapphire is depending on you! As if all of Libra is depending on you!" Cyber shouted before returning to his second-in commands. "We need to prepare ourselves." |

Roald: Well tell us what we need to, you're in charge sir. *jumping off the crate of supplies he was sitting on this entire time* Leyak: We're with ya! *Saying this as he was puting his BombLance up* We'll get started as soon as ya get the word boss! and so the Rangda brothers who were a legendary military family, had saluted there first in charge and got ready to do what they needed too. |

Cyber nodded. In the corner of his eye, he saw Thunderkeep exit out the door. Coaxing the Rangda brothers to come along, he followed the mighty general outside. To his surprise, Cyber glanced at the vast rows and columns of military officials gathering outside of the base. The front row had just finished practicing their daily routine and were at the command of their squad leader, they returned to their positions in preparation of the real deal. Everyone behind that row stood idly and remained saluted. Cyber quickly scanned for their spots in and took three empty spots nearby. As he himself performed the same stance, his eyes moved all around, glancing in awe. All this to welcome the prince? He must be highly respected, he thought, having never met or seen Mac in person. This was totally different than meeting all those military officials years and years ago. |

Hydrocity Act 2
|
As the crowd had been split, there were the royal family, and the friends of the Prince, there it was the King, the two Princess's, the Prince, and the Prince's Group. They were escorted by King Hammerhead, and the three Eternal Ruby Generals, alongside the Queen Emma of the Emerald Kingdom, and her Elite sorceress. As they were marching into the head of the G.E.M. to the front of the soldiors, they all lined up, the two Kings and the Queen in front of there cohorts. They all stood there watching the army, until finnaly Thunderkeep told them to be at ease. Thunderkeep: We were only expecting the Prince my brother, what brings the rest of you here? King Ezra: We are checking up on the G.E.M. , we heard there maybe some attacks soon. We want to see if the training is going fine. Thunderkeep: I see.... King H: The training will hopefully be going much smoother. the generals have been ressurected. Queen Emma: Well, I want to hear what the in commands have to say, if you need me, i'll be speaking to the higher troops. |

Marble Garden Act 1

"Attacks?" Cyber whispered, only to be nudged by another soldier. He watched the three great leaders of the allied kingdoms converse with one another. He had never expected even one to be there, much less all three. His widened eyes signaled his brain to go haywire, but he continued to suppress his emotions. ~~~ Far off in the distance, Zach and his crew ran on foot, hurrying to the G.E.M. headquarters. His plans were on the verge of ruin. "Damn it! I thought they were going to announce the revival in Ruby! How much farther, Hans?" "Until sunset," Hanson replied. "I heard rumors they were startin' the ceremony just as night hits." Judging by the sun, they were almost there. Just a little more. Faster. "I can't keep up any more!" Muddy announced, falling behind before his hand was gripped in Hanson's. As they ran in unison, Hanson smiled back at Muddy who returned the smile. "Thanks, Hans!" the chubby fox said. "Kelly!" Zach shouted. "You still got everything we need?" |
