A carriage of horses had just returned before noon. Finally. While the driver remained, a messenger climbed clamped his boots along the surface of the blue and yellow ornamented stairs that seemed to narrow as he climbed upward. The messenger removed his hat and bowed before the king. In his hand, fastened by gloves, was a small note. He dared not to peek inside and seemed to hastily give it to the king so as to not fail his duty as a messenger. Deliver, never see. That was the motto of messengers. "Good day to the royal Princess," he spoke, his eyes glancing towards Snow. He bowed once more before her. ~~~ The rest of this RP will follow in script form with myself having a tendency to write in paragraph form every now and then. |

The messenger returned Snow's smile and turned to King Erza. "No sir. It is just that note, he replied. Before he retreated, he added a little note, "And sorry for the delay, Your Highness, but... you might want to be weary of the path linking between Emerald and Ruby. Something suspicious lurks there. The driver and I are safe, mind you." He shot the two a smile and exited the castle, hopped back into the carriage, and disappeared along the cobble road that marked the common village. The commonwealth were rather active today as was the case of a booming economy such as Sapphire. At every point of the clock - morning, noon, evening, and midnight - the villagers proudly chanted the words: "ALL HAIL THE SAPPHIRE KING!" Amidst the proud chants came a faint yell of disapproval. This voice sounded more like the voice of a brat - whoever that could be. --- Villager 1: Keep quiet, you peasant! You should be grateful for the king's efforts to maintain this land! Villager 2: Aye, aye! Feed him to the ducks! Who needs him? Zach: I have my reasons... and ain't none of you people goin' to tell me otherwise! Villager 3: What are you going to do about it? Start a fight? We may be commoners, but we're skilled nonetheless! *spits in Zach's face after the fox throws himself at him* Outsider... The villagers depart, leaving Zach to tend to his own needs. |

King Ezra: Lynn. make sure that man who delivered the message gets a bonus for the additional news, I will have to take a look at the road between Ruby and Emerald. The King Ezra gets off of his throne and walks to his quarters. Princess Snow walks to her room and takes a nap as she has had a long and stressful day training her magical abilities. ---- Prince Mac, and his friends are walking in town and noticed the Villagers and Zach in an argument he then proceeds to calls the villagers and Zach together to queastion them. Mac: What's been going on here? |

The villagers hear footsteps and the voice of a respected individual. They stop in their tracks and turn to greet Mac. One such villager gets down on his knees and kisses his boots. "Oh, Your Royal Highness... I'm sorry... muah muah... I wont do it again... muah, muah," he says before being knocked in the head by a villager. "Stop that. It's horrendous," he responded. Zach turns back as well and folds his arms. "And just who are y'all?" |

Mac: Please, get on your feet sir. I want to know what just happened and why it happened. C.I.: I'm C.I., This is Rush, thats Rurik, and those two cats over there are Verata and Luna. Oh and thats Prince Mac. ------- Introducing Characters: all characters in this RP are from Shining Darkness101's world ''Centrion'' and thus being so, Echidna's don't follow the Sonic worlds ''Knuckles is the last Echidna'' rule. Prince, Mac Nightfall Sapphire - Fox, born into the royal family, he has two sisters, of them being a twin sister. Mac has a unique ability to fight with 6 swords. 2 which are weilded in each hand and are heavy. he wraps the other four around his tails they are specialy modified with additional hand guards to assist Macs grip on them with his tails. He is also very proficient in magic but prefers the physical fighting role over the magical one. C.I. Ironheart - Echidna from the Iron Clan. He's a fist Fighter and a master of explosives as well. Despite his tall and muscular look, he's very fast and is abnormally strong, Physical attacks are almost useless against him, but Magic is his weakness. He's one of Mac's closest friends from the battle school. Rush Von Livia - Hawk from the Emerald Kingdom who moved to Sapphire Kingdom to learn in the makings of being a Knight. He previously was in a magic academy but is only proficient in Wind magic, He wears light armor, and is fast to attack due to it. Like C.I. he is one of Mac's closest friends from the battle school. Rurik the Wolf: Wolf hailing from Spring Fields. Mac regards him as a trusted advisor, and usually leaves Rurik in charge of a group whenever they split apart. Rurik is a healer, he carries around a large hammer which he rarely uses. He's never made a kill himself, rather he knocks his foes out, if any killing needs done he lets his allies do it. He usually resorts to gathering info or healing. Verata the Cat: Cat , it is unknown where she was born. she is a Necromantress and an Assassin. despite her dark and evil type proffesions she is calm and can be very nice. She is one of Macs Guardians and Luna's twin sister. Luna the Cat: Cat , it is unknown where she was born, she is a Healer, and a Djinn Caller(basicaly summons elemental spirits.) She unlike Verata, is much more outgoing. and is a very nice person, most people would refer to Luna as a ''Dumb Blonde'' despite this, she's very smart but lets Verata handle the heavy thinking whenever she's around, Luna overall is care free and has little to no stress. |

Zach guffawed at them, his haughty composure - complete with a skinny body, rough orange fur, unkempt hairstyle, and something of a "jelly belly" - remaining unhindered. He watched the villager bow before the royal prince and almost vomited in his mouth. He could not even begin to fathom the immense praise and... dare he say, worship.... given his own current situation. A strong, burning sensation arose in his gut, a feeling of utter hatred for someone he had only met for mere seconds. The eyes of his companions stared blankly at the fox, who dressed rather poorly compared to their fancy get-ups. Anyway, Zach was feeling all the more rebellious, and thus, he put his foot down. "And what's in it for you? A glorious reward for helping the poor?" he demanded. "Shut up, kid. That's the prince of Sapphire! Disrespect him, and you'll get the punishment!" one of the villagers exclaimed. He felt the ever need to wring the boy's neck for such behavior. "What punishment? Chains? Whips? Verbal abuse?" Zach questioned. "I may not have been abused, but I watched my neighbors go through that crap." The bowing villager stood up and responded to his cries, "Abuse? My boy, you're mistaken! The kingdom of Sapphire is a peaceful place. The commoners here are generally happy here. Look around you!" He smiled as he spoke, feeling sympathy for a confused individual. He's just an outsider. He doesn't know any better!, he thought. ------- Character Information: Apologies for having not already introduced him, but Zach's information is below. He belongs to me. I will have his profile done and up in the Fancharacter section of the forum sooner or later. Zachary Keith Vulpes - This generally unkempt fox is a crude loudmouth. Born in Station Square and raised in a trailer park, he has witnessed the grotesque experience that comes with poverty from fellow neighbors, and since then, he has felt the utter need to bring justice. With his two friends, Hanson Lewis and Muddy Greens (whom you may or may not see in this RP), Zach hopes to push forward his cause. Other significant perks include his desire to prank others and cheer them up. He is, however, racist. |

Mac: Everyone, be quiet. I can stand up for myself if I need to. *Mac is walking up to Zach* what seems to be the problem? C.I.: *gets the other villagers off of Mac and to the right side of the two Fox's. Rush: Sheesh, people are so rowdy these days. whatsup with that? C.I.: I have no idea, but I do know is that they ain't got nuthin! --- Further apologies for not mentioning these other characters: King Ezra Sapphire: The King of Sapphire Kingdom, a most busy King, he fights alongside his army instead of dispatching them himself, his citizens are very loyal, as is his army. He's well known throughout Centrion (It is known as Centrion or Centurion, either works, and it is the name of the world I've made for my fan characters). He united many areas together to bring peace. The once feuding Ruby Kingdom had became allied with Sapphire after the King of the Ruby had been killed by his own son who had seeked peace between the two kingdoms. Ezra believes in sharing money and will often give people the money they need without queastion. due to such a peaceful but intimidating will War has stopped between many area's thanks to his help. Princess Snow Sapphire: The younger Princess of Sapphire Kingdom. She is Mac's twin sister. she is greatly gifted with magical abilities. She keeps a Small Sword with her whenever it's needed however. She fights primarily with her Diverse Magic, a Small sword a bow. she also keeps a cross bow and rope bolts for whenever it's needed. She, like Mac has 2 guardians. Lynn: Lynn is a regular Guards woman(She's a fox) who Ezra sends on special tasks often. Other then that there's nothing else about her. |

Just what he expected, a face-off with authority. He hated authority. One part of him wanted to tell the prince nothing. These leaders were all the same. A little help here and there grants them fame and fortune. Another part inside him told him to run. That would be weak of me, he thought. Okay, fine. I'll take the neutral route and tell him everything. Then he can leave me alone. He's just a prince after all. I'm here to convince the real deal: the king. "Fine, I'll tell you what happened. Then you need to tell me how you plan to solve it. Okay, buddy?" Zach replied. A confident smirk crossed his face. |

Zach tilted his head, slightly bewildered by the fox's statement. He was used to refusals and hidden motives that came with authorities. "I won't force it upon you." The quote echoed in his mind. For a moment, he stopped to think about what he intended to do. Getting to the king proved so easy. There much be some catch, but maybe not. He was going to approach the king, but not today. He departed the scene and went on his way. While he walked down the seemingly long cobble path, a plan was slowly weaving in the depths of his mind. ~~~ A girl stood by, having witnessed the small situation. She continued to watch the villagers gossip about the fox who escalated the problem. Deep within, she felt the need to help the fox, but before she could sink into her thoughts, she was coaxed by her father to continue shelving the goods while he sold them. She was a merchant's daughter, a fate she could not see any control of, bound to the wills of man. Her father assumed control to all his female relatives but his sister, who maintained an independent yet strict demeanor and could almost dominate him if she deemed it necessary. Claude Jennings called out to his wife, Pytha, who stood just outside the small building. Her job was to simply welcome customers into the store. This method of appeal worked for the first few months since the store's establishment, but has recently started to decline. As the owner of the store, Claude was growing desperate. A slightly bruised, golden-furred fox entered the store and stood before her husband. She tugged at her white, ragged top. Claude placed his hands on her shoulders, saying nothing and revealing no sign of comfort or assurance. He was usually this way - a stern man. "Can you convince them any better?" Claude asked his wife. He wanted so much as to scream their stresses away, but remained quiet. "I'll try..." Pytha replied as she sat in the corner eating a loaf of bread. "What do you suppose?" Claude thought for a moment. He looked around for key people. In the corner of his eye was the prince and his group. He scanned the group, figuring out who would be likely to buy his goods. It was all appearance. "Bring them over," he ordered his wife who immediately walked out. "Um, excuse me?" she asked the group. --- ((EDIT: See bold print for recent changes.)) Pytha approached Mac and C.I. as she ran her fingertips along a bruise on her bare shoulder. She stopped within a couple of inches away from them, scanning their robust faces. She turned to Mac, and for a moment's time, she found the well-to-do prince almost unrecognizable. This was quite understandable, as her memory often failed to serve her right. When her senses came to, she held out a couple of jars filled with honey. "If you would... please take these? They're only five coins. We're running low on business, Prince Mac," she explained, waiting for his response. |
