Posts: 3,252 Group: =SB= Kings Member #9,868 Joined: March 28, 2009	The thing that first caught my attention with this game (Apart from the obvious reason that it is Pony related) was the following two promo images. Notice anything strange about them? Lots of dark colours and silver, hardly seems related to the pink and pastel colours of the show in which it is based. However despite the darker images this isn't Battling is Magic. The whole game is based around sorting out problems rather then fighting, so the Decks are divided into two parts, A 50-card 'Draw' Deck that acts like you would expect from and card game and a 10-card 'Problem' Deck that will contain all the problems that need solving. Gameplay is focused on a 'Main Character', Basically a Pony that will be the focus of your deck, and the objective is to solve all your problems before your opponent can solve there own. Once the game goes live you can purchase it in $10.99 60-card theme decks, $18.99 two-player theme sets, and $3.49 12-card boosters. (Still no word on release outside of the US)

Of course the characters wouldn't be battling, that would be a bit strange if it was all about using magic to "harm" your opponent. I wonder if there's going to be a tournament in the future though...

Definitely can't wait for this, but I don't know who i'd play against though... My gf doesn't like MLP and there are only a few other people that I know in real life who likes the show... The Starter Set will have two decks, one focused on Pinkie Pie and the other focused on Fluttershy. There will be two Theme Decks at launch, one with Rainbow Dash and Rarity, the other with Twilight Sparkle and Applejack.
