Carnival Night Act 1 Posts: 186 Group: E Rank Guardian Member #13,514 Joined: April 8, 2013	So I thought a good way to get to know other people's characters (other than the tournaments of course) Would be to have a shack RP, just something with no plot or such, where people can pop in and RP as their characters in a non-serious setting. What do you think, and where would I post it?

Carnival Night Act 1 Posts: 186 Group: E Rank Guardian Member #13,514 Joined: April 8, 2013	Ummm... well here's my plan at the moment. -No rules on going in order, since people can just pop in and out. -No God-modding, but exaggeration is ok. -Don't take other people's actions too seriously, this is not a serious RP -You can relax your writing unless you are trying to impress others so they'll want to RP with you in more serious RP's. I'd just sit back and see where it goes, lay down the hammer if anyone gets too far out of line. It could go anywhere from characters tackling each other with joy in a clubhouse to fighting a giant monster to save the world. Who knows.

Chaos Emerald Posts: 691 Group: S Rank Knight Member #746 Joined: March 19, 2007	The only problem I have with this, is it becoming just a 'chat rp,' which isn't a rp at all and would be another spin-off of the shack itself. Also, you don't want people to be like 'Timmy just sat there bored' or 'Yeah whatever, have fun' cause once again, it'll be just like the shack, and the shack isn't an rp... Even though people have different personas when chatting in the shack... Either way, there has to be a general plot besides just doing 'nothing' or just 'relaxing,' other wise its just another chat room and not an rp... Anyways, those are my thoughts... I believe this was attempted or thought of before.shrugs I did something similar to this, it was a shack wedding rp(me and kitty cakes gots married... sorta xD) however, I included a plot so it wouldn't just be random nonsense and chatting... Carnival Night Act 1 Posts: 186 Group: E Rank Guardian Member #13,514 Joined: April 8, 2013	I figure that the RP'ers themselves can direct the plot well enough, but yes, if the RP goes on or two pages with just talk, then I'll do something like have Eggman attack or have the googlebot come tearing through the wall. Putting it in advanced is a good idea. I was figuring originally that one-liners would be ok since it's so relaxed, but I suppose in all things we wish to increase writing ability. Minimum 3 sentences.

Also, I think that there could be somewhere the RP actually begins in. We wouldn't be able to do much if the RP just starts in the middle of nowhere.

Then If that fails (which I doubt) then we can load a super relaxed, don't care whats happening chat RP in the Casino games section. Sound good to all?
