Posts: 3,252 Group: =SB= Kings Member #9,868 Joined: March 28, 2009	In 2011 Madden creator Robin Antonick sued EA for allegedly continuing to use his code for future madden games without permission after he left. The case was finally presented before the court and after 3 days of deliberation the Jury sided with Antonick. In the suit, Antonick stated that EA's Madden games from 1990 - 96 were virtually identical to Antonick's first game. Due to this EA will have to pay him 11 million dollars, which in part will be used to file another lawsuit to investigate the games after 1996. So, if someone's arguing with you that Madden games aren't the same every year, you now have legal proof to the contrary. Source
