Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games is an upcoming Wii U and Nintendo 3DS game and is the fourth installment in the Mario & Sonic series. It will include a variety of events from the winter games such as skiing, figure skating and curling. Different events uses the Wii Remote Plus controller, Wii U GamePad, or both. As the other games in the series, it will feature realistic events with ones in Mario's and Sonic's worlds.

So it's out now of course. Doubt anyone got it though, judging from lack of posts.

Not getting it either but I listened to a few of the game's soundtrack works. The remixes are pretty nice.

Fen yeah, the music is quite nice for it, but I have been left, mostly, unimpressed by these sorts of games, like Pianta said these sort of Olympic games are really... getting milked big time.

Quite, if Sega and Nintendo want to keep this series going, they need to give this series abit more juice(or at least try something new).

It seems some characters are bound to be only boss characters.

I'm pretty turned off by the whole Olympics idea myself.. The only reason I would get this is for my little brother, so me and him could duke it out (he loves Mario and I love Sonic) but I def wouldn't be caught buying it at brand new price..

Sometimes things that sort of bugged me is the logic, if Sonic is the fastest thing alive - then surely any speed related competition he'd excel at? Same as why Sonic racing games kind of seem moot to me.

However, my point being - is there a reason (beyond milking a cash cow and marketing) Sonic is playable but isn't an easy win at all the races etc? Like in the game do they explain that he's holding back for funsies or what?
