A calm morning. The air was still, it was sunny outside, and the suburb was quiet. There was some activity in an average-looking white house. "No, I don't want a party." Vestra said at the dinner table as she poked her scrambled eggs with a fork. "Come on, Vestra. You need more social activity. Meet some people, live a little!" Tiamat replied before eating another forkful of the eggs. "No is no. I'm not interested." Vestra complained. She was perfectly fine with her usual daily activities in her armor-plated lab. "It's for your own good." Tiamat said with a sigh. "You already set everything up, didn't you." Vestra said, looking right at Tiamat. "Yeah. The fliers are already around town." Tiamat said. "It'll start at 12." "Damn it, Tiamat..." Vestra grumbled. A few hours passed. Tiamat set up some nice music as well as some tropical punch. It was now 12, and she waited for some guests to show up. |

At this same hour, a couple of blocks away and in a blue house, a young couple was setting up some instruments and a camera, linked to a laptop. A boy strapped the first of the instruments onto him, which was a handsome squire Stratocaster. he then began to fiddle with the medium amp that was now plugged into said guitar. The second of that couple, which was setting a very attractive girl with glasses, was setting up a keyboard, with some sample pads and whatnot. This duo was known as Randomocity, a duo that had their beginnings as just two people who happened to like instruments, and playing music. Today, this was a scheduled performance, which was to be uploaded to a popular video uploading site. |

"Pleeeeeeeeease!! Oh come on-it'll be super tons of fun!" Lilly nearly jumped up and down as she pointed to one of the many fliers. Lisa rolled her eyes, trying to ignore her sister's begging. "I don't do large crowds, and I'm not going to have you go alone. As it is, Vin was suppose to be your guard dog, but it turns out he is good for nothing but leaving us, like dad did." Lilly pouted as she stomped her foot. "Don't bring dad into this... He had a rough life and almost died-" "But took off the first chance he got and left mom alone with us... Even she managed to leave us too..." Lilly glared at her older sister, who simply displayed a 'I don't care' look as she crossed her arms. ".. PLEASE!!" Lilly went back to pleading and begging, until finally Lisa closed her eyes and spoke with such annoyance, that it was clear she only agreed to silence the girl's whining. "Fine...We'll go to this party... Not like you wont run off anyways..." "Yaay!! Lets go!" With that said Lilly took off and raced down the street to where the party was being held. Lisa sighs and simply paced herself behind her little sister, jogging more so than running. It didn't take long for the duo to reach the place, to which Lilly smiled with glee and jumps up and down with joy. "Wow!! An actually birthday party! I always wanted to go to one of these!" Lilly states, standing there as if she was lost yet overly happy she was here to begin with. Lisa finally joined her and looked around. She leaned on one hip and sighs, crossing her arms as she waited for Lilly to work up the nerve to knock on the door. |

Suddenly, a voice spoke up. "Hi." The voice belonged to Vestra, and was VERY unenthusiastic. Tiamat opened the door and smiled at the two. "Hi there! I hope you have fun. You're the first guests!" "Whatever." Vestra said, crossing her arms. "Be more lively, Vestra! This is a party!" Tiamat said, irritated by her sister's apathy. Vestra sighed in reply. "If you need me, I'll be in my lab." Vestra left and went back to her lab. "Don't mind Miss Poutypants over there." Tiamat said, rolling her eyes. |

"one, two, three, four!" with this quiet count off, Senjin and his band mate Mariko launched into a song they had been covering all week long by a band called the jam. The song was called "That's entertainment." Senjin was shy on the outside. however, you wouldn't know that if you saw one of Randomocities' performances. He had a good time while doing those. He always did. |

Lilly could only smile, ignoring Vestra for the moment as she looked at the decorations. "Great... Another boring person besides myself. I could only take a guess that this is her party. Either that, or its your party and she is just supporting you in a boring way... Regardless, nice kasa... Um, house, of course." Lisa comments as she too looked around. She let a little spanish slip out, not that she knew much but she tends to use different languages when she is somewhat impressed. "Isn't it great!! Happy party everyone!!" Lilly shouts as she runs in. She didn't even know where to begin. "Having said that, don't mind miss overly-hyper pants. She'll calm down soon enough." Lisa tells Tiamat as she reached out her hand for a greeting. "Ooooh!! A live band!! How awesome!! Play me another song!! Play me another sooooong!" Lilly shouts with glee as she jumps up and down. She ran to get a better look at the band, wide eyes and in awe as she hummed with excitement. |

Senjin was indeed having a good time with the performance. It looked like another performance that their fans would be commenting about. If only Senjin and Mariko knew that they were being watched and streaming. |

"Lisa..." She replied as they officially greeted one another. She kept her eyes on Lilly though, making sure the girl didn't go off and do something drastic. "Why don't you have the band play here? Wouldn't that draw more of a crowd?" Lisa asked, but was interrupted as she finished. "Oh yes!! Bring the band here!!! That would be SO awesome! Pleeeeease!!!" Lilly pleaded, nearly jumping up and down as she cupped her hands in front of her as if begging, smiling the biggest smile she could display. |

"Well, I don't actually know them personally." Tiamat said. "But in any case-" Suddenly, not only the house but almost the entire neighborhood shook for a split second. The power also went out for that time. There was a very loud sound of some sort, though it was hard to determine what it was. "What... What was..." Tiamat said, getting back up. A look of realization and fear crept upon her face as she ran to her sister's lab. "Follow! She might need help!" The inside of Vestra's lab was almost completely black, and everything there was pretty much destroyed. The only area that was relatively intact was the far side of it. |

Randomocity had finished with their cover. Senjin was indeed happy with how the cover turned out. "I think that should be on an album," Mariko said smiling. Senjin was however unsure. "Um, i..really don't know," Senjin replied. He usually replied like that whenever the matter was focused on putting a song on an album. Suddenly, the house shook for a brief second, albeit violently. The duo rushed outside to see what was the matter. |

Lisa and Lilly slowly picked themselves up. Lisa wasn't too worried about what just happened, but more concerned for her cloths as she dusted herself off a bit. "Not every day something-" "Whoooa! Was that part of the party!! Do it again!" Lilly shouts, but was suddenly interrupted as Tiamat called for them to follow her. "I'm thinking not... Game face, sis, this could be interesting." Upon speaking this Lilly's entire attitude changed. She was serious, and oddly menacing looking, no doubt a treat she gets from her father. She followed Lisa as Lisa trailed behind Tiamat. The lab was barely intact, broken items, no lighting, and simply a mess. It was hard to tell if the origin point of this power-out was from here. Anything could happen in this lab from what they saw of the mess. |

Tiamat looked through the lab. She then suddenly paused, horrified. Slumped against the wall was Vestra Kroy. Her left side was cut and bruised, but it was her right side that was really bad. The left side of her torso and her left shoulder were charred black, and her left arm was gone completely. The left side of her face was cut pretty badly, and her left eye was damaged beyond repair. "V... Vestra...?" Tiamat said, scared for her sister. Vestra mumbled something, revealing that not only was she alive, she was conscious. "Oh sh-t!" Tiamat shouted. "One of you pick her up, I'm going to get an ambulance!" |

Lilly didn't think about it, she ran over to her and scooped her up. Once that was done Lisa and Lilly followed Tiamat. They both didn't want to stay in this place, in case it randomly caved in. "Power is dead. How do you expect to reach an ambulance?" Lisa asked, realizing they had no way of contacting anyone, let alone the hospital or the police. "What happened do you think?" Lilly jumped in with another question. They figured Tiamat would have all the answers, seeing as this was her house, her friend or sibling, and her issue to solve with their help of course. |
