Sonic 06 is a broken, broken game. I know. But, with legions of hackers, we could hack the game to a state where it's quite fun. So, uh, go to Steam and get them to port the game or something. I wouldn't mind seeing it be ported for the sake of fixing it, but I wouldn't even be able to run it so... I'd just have to watch their videos. $:\$ I don't see this ever getting a port though, seeing how iirc Sega wanted this game to be off the shelves pretty bad a few years ago...

Honestly speaking, the game wasn't THAT bad. To say that it is a broken-broken bothers me a tiny bit. Also, I'm not to jump down someone's throat when they voice that they didn't like the game for x, y, and z reasons, but I'm a bit tired of people trashing the game, and assuming that the entire Sonic fanbase hates the game as well. I still play Sonic 06, and I still have loads of fun with it. If anything, Unleashed annoys the heck out of me more so than 06 does, but thats is just me. I know I kinda went on a little rant, but I'm just annoyed that people assume every Sonic fan hates 06, and those that actually enjoyed it are shoved into a 'naughty corner...' Moving though... I thought 06 was already for the PC... Having said that, you are right about one thing. Being able to hack ANY game for lols sounds like tons of fun... As for Steam... I barely use it... If 06 does become downloadable, I wont be downloading it either way. I'll just youtube hacks and enjoy the fun via watching... xD

Personally, it's not a matter of fixing the load times and a few glitches; it's virtually EVERYTHING. The gameplay mechanics, jumping physics (especially for Sonic's Mach Speed sections and Amy's double jump), hit/invincibility frames, updating character models for normal cutscenes, fixing speed issues, etc. There's A LOT of work to be done within the game than a simple patch or retouching certain aspects. It needs to have a complete overhaul to the point of not being worth the time and effort of doing so, if anything this change would produce a crisp new game in itself.
