Yeah. I'm thinking either a boss or stage hazard ala Chimera. I've just done most of my speculation elsewhere.

And if it's anything like Brawl they'll be multiple songs for each stage. So it's likely the remixes heard in the trailer with both be available.

ALL JOKES ASIDE do you all remember that Namco is developing the games alongside Nintendo? I kinda forgot, not seeing their name mentioned on the trailer or anything really.

Minor news but Namco comments on possibility of using their characters. Overall, I say Pacman is the most likely candidate to join Mega Man as a 3rd party character, Miyamoto being a big fan though. I would personally prefer a Tales character though... but the series hasn't been relevant on Nintendo platforms in a while so shrug.

Pacman is probably the most likely Namco rep, assuming there is one at all. He pretty much just said that Namco-Bandai's inclusion does not mean they'll get a character guaranteed.

That said, I can't really think of how Pacman would fight. So... maybe not?

You know it will though. Klonoa probably isn't popular enough. Which sucks cause I'd love to see him in it.

Sorry to keep you waiting!
Honestly, the third-party I want to see most along with Mega Man is...

Well, you can PROBABLY figure it out...

Ahem. *points to avatar and sig*

Also, I think the Trainer is a REALLY cool addition. Everyone whining about it is missing the point of Smash Bros. You don't need to have the major characters only, that'd be boring. Sakurai's having fun with his additions, and I respect that.

Pac-Man would make the most sense as a Namco rep. He's certainly iconic enough, I mean, it's freaking Pac-Man.

Based on what I've read in this article, it sounds like there might not be as many characters as we think. Cuts ahoy?

By the way, have some stage screenshots:

Wii U

Nintendo 3DS

I'm more or less in love with the Wii U Battlefield. It looks so goooood! The boxing ring stage is pretty rad too. And Dr. Wily's Castle looks real slick in HD.

I also spy Arena Ferox in the 3DS version. Pretty good choice for an FE stage.

well..am i the only one that thinks Nintendogs were going to have a stage? what do you guys think will be the hazards in that one? will it be the same or will there be some kind of shifting stage, since in the game you can go out of a walk and such?

Well, yeah. They said a while ago they're not planning on expanding the roster that much bigger then Brawl's, they're looking on changes. I was never expecting anything bigger, hence I pointed out the similarities between Villager and Game & Watch's movesets.

And I pointed that out. They're probably going to cut Ike for Chrom, despite how much I want Lucina.

Again, I'm praying Sonic makes the cut once again.

I didn't even know Klonoa was a guy. I thought it was a girl. Never played the games soooo... Lol.

Not sure how Pac-man would fight. He had a mech to use in SF X T. Not sure that'd work for here.
-Sig under construction because the next thing I use will be hilarious-

Hey guys! Check out this game I made Here!

Haha, oh yeah. I forgot he was in SFxTK. He was better than the "Mega Man" in that one.

Fen: Hey, she still might show up in his Final Smash. Dual Strike, anyone?

Also while yes, we've seen it, we haven't seen a full shot of it. I knew it looked Arena Ferox-y but I wasn't sure.

And stop using strike out it makes ya look sulky. :I

So besides characters, what sort of stages do you guys want to see? Here's some thoughts I had on one I'd like to see from somewhere else:

Myself

What I'd really like to see this time around is a Bowser themed stage for the Super Mario series. We've had several classic themed stages, Peach's Castle a few times and even Luigi's Mansion. So why not Bowser?

The two that come to mind would be either an Airship Fortress stage, or something based on Bowser's castles.

Focusing on the latter of those two, I think it'd make for an interesting stage. Lava and fireballs ala classic Mario would make for decent stage hazards. Make the lava level rise and you've practically got Mario themed Brinstar/Norfair. I'd imagine it would be inside the castle, but you could even do something like the World 8 stages in the NSMB series with the castle looming ever presently in the background. To add a little more character, they could add Kamek and Bowser Jr. hovering around the background and watching the action. Maybe include some of the generic enemies cheering on as the action unfolds. I reckon it'd be pretty sweet.

We probably won't see it, but I would be picking it a lot if we did.
