If characters don't matter then why are you playing Smash Bros.? The whole series is about characters from across Nintendo universes duking it out.

Anyway, he's probably not going to reveal much in the way of the things you mentioned. He's already told us that both versions get seperate trophies based on Console and Handheld releases and I imagine that's all we'll hear about it for now. Everything else will be about items, stages and of course Characters. And maaaaybe we'll catch a glimpse of what game modes are in. Though I'd expect that in a video during a Direct closer to its release.
Ok, I know what I said, but I didn't mean it THAT way. Sure, I like the characters as much as the next guy or gal, but what I really meant was that I would like to see more of the other features that this glorious game would have.

In other news, kinda knew that Diddy would be back in Sm4sh. Sorry for seeming like I wasn't interested in characters alone.

Kind of minor news but

Director of the Super Smash Bros. series, Masahiro Sakurai, has revealed on Miiverse that in Super Smash Bros. 4, when two consecutive attacks land on an opponent, a finishing move will always take place. The above picture displays Fox’s finishing move, a ‘finishing kick’, which occurs after his standard combo of two consecutive attacks is performed.

Right. Kinda like what brawl did with some of the characters.

Waluigi Once again returns as an assist trophy. Looks like he traded his tennis racket in for a golf club!!!

I thought it looks more like a Police Baton he's using.
Be sure to check me out on Deviant Art to see some of my various drawings and artworks. http://hexidextrous.deviantart.com/

Also, I would like to ask a favor from for anyone who is my friend here.
If someday we meet in person in the near future, and I had recently done anything that would confirm that I had become a Brony (which as of now I am not one), such as if I had posted on a Pony-related fan-site, drawn a Pony-themed artwork, contributed to a Pony fanfic, or anything else along those lines. If I have done anything like that, I want you to punch me in the face without warning. This make sound like I'm joking, but I am absolutely serious about this. Ignore any future statements retracting this if I ever make any. Though if you do, please first confirm that it is me who is doing it, and not some Brony who is posing as me and wants to see me get punched. I do not wish to go down the path of the Bronies, and hopefully those of you reading this will help me so that it stays that way, if god forbid I ever even attempt it.
Thank you.

Man he looks pretty low quality compared to the playable characters. Those hands man.

Guess it makes sense though. Don't need him taking up too many resources while he's on screen.

Knew Waluigi wasn't getting in as playable, but I'm glad he's still around at least.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who thought they belong in a N64 game. ;P

Dreamcast would probably be spot on. But that's not a Nintendo console. I was trying to keep it to those, aha.

Glad to hear that there are two variations of the boxing ring. Both look pretty good but I prefer the Smash variant.
Bit of a bump. Lumiose City confirmed to be a 3DS stage maybe?

Probably a tour stage ala Delfino Plaza. Glad to see another basic Pokémon stage that isn't just Pokémon Stadium.
