So far it's pretty good, I've only seen three episodes so far but I like it. Just need to find some more time to watch the rest of Season 1 though. In the scene with Scootaloo, Diamond Tiara brings up the point that Scootaloo is physically disabled, That her wings are not growing at the rate they should be and hence is the reason she can't fly. The brilliant part is that Apple Bloom responds with "What has that got to do with anything?", It's just such a delight for a show to potentially have a disabled cast member and have the rest of the cast be like 'Yeah she's disabled, So what?', It's just something you don't tend to see in a show of any kind nowadays and its a road I hope they choose to go down.

(In no particular order) I started watching this show out of boredom on Netflix, and I got hooked on it. I even got one of my best friends to start watching it, and she loves it too. Her favorite is Pinkie Pie. I have a bunch of favorite episodes, but I like A Canterlot Wedding, and the one where Fluttershy becomes a bully, the one where Pinkie Pie clones herself, and the one where Rarity gets kidnapped by those dog things. There are probably more that I like just as much but that's all I can think of off the top of my head.

It just takes a little digesting. As the literary researcher Karl Plank put it, "the full depth of the text requires an appropriate phenomenological lens prior to the lens of the text itself, the lens's lens as it were... it calls for a shedding of cultural assumptions and traditional structures in favor of a more direct and personally existential approach...for the text to reveal itself to the reader." To make his long point shorter, you just have to interpret it (i.e. 'it' the post) through the correct lens, and that might take some doing. Take some time to deconstruct the post and to consider how you might get an angle on this seemingly random series of words, what intertextual references I'm making, and maybe the full depth of what I'm trying to communicate will become apparent. It's gonna take some work, though. I mean, it looks like a simple answer to a simple question, but that's the beauty of it, man. There's some literary density in its brevity. In eleven short words, I manage to contribute more to the forum than I have in this whole avalanche of critical-interpretive text. I'd like to thank this forum's staff for forcing me to such artistic heights. I couldn't have done it without you goading me on, like the good shepherds you are. -- And... Was musing with one of my coworkers yesterday: It's already been effectively established who everyone would be in Team Fortress 2: Twilight Sparkle - Sniper Applejack - Engineer Pinkie Pie - Pyro Rarity - Spy Rainbow Dash - Scout Fluttershy - Doctor Angel - Soldier Spike - Heavy Zecora - Demoman With a picture shown as them on the BLU Team, who would be on the RED Team? my coworker and I put up a serious discussion and came up with the following: Discord - Pyro Diamond Dog (...or Nightmare Moon?) - Heavy King Sombra - Doctor The Great and Powerful Trixie - Engineer Queen Crysalis - Spy Flim / Flam (interchangable) - Scout Diamond Tiara - Sniper Derpy Hooves (Ditzy Doo) - Demoman Iron Will (minotaur) - Soldier Approve? Sniper - Sunset Shimmer - Polar opposite of Twilight Sparkle so it makes sense. Engineer - Lyra Heartstrings - She is very . . . Handy. Pyro - Spitfire - She leaves flames where she flys, nuff said. Spy - Bon Bon - She has many voices, perfect for a spy work. Scout - Lightning Dust - Polar opposite of Rainbow Dash so it makes sense. Doctor - Nurse Redheart - Shes a nurse. Soldier - Thunderlane - He has an army style mane cut. Heavy - Bic Macintosh - Well built big frame. Demoman - Derpy Hooves - For the lols.
