So far it's getting all the praise that Uncharted 2&3 were but they've been saying it is better than those games. IGN took 18 hours to beat it so that's quite a bit longer than those games. Can't wait to get it!

Dang... this is relieving.

I was always skeptical of the game because it's a third person shooter that I think focuses on zombies / infected and whatnot so it's definitely nice. Aside from it being developed by Naughty Dog, I always held an interest because the two characters, Joel and Ellie, seemed really intriguing. I only read Kotaku's review I think, who gave it a 7.5, but I'll need to read IGN's and such too, to see why they gave it a perfect.

Kotaku doesn't give scores. They just do a pass/fail system.

I cannot stand to wait much longer for this game. So stoked it's third person, I've always preferred those because Resident Evil is my best friend.

One thing I can't seem to get my head around is whether or not I should preorder one of the Joel/Ellie editions of the game or just nab it once it comes to stores. Damn decisions.

It seems like a great game, but I'm not sure if I'll get it.

I will love Uncharted forever. Draaaaaaaaake~. <3

IGN stated it took them 18 hours to finish. I'm liking the sound of that, that makes it longer than the Uncharted games. They said it was the longest campaign they've done. I wonder how long it takes to beat Jak? Anyway I'm glad it offers a beefy campaign.

This is statistically impossible. A few perfect scores yes, but ALL of those?

I smell a rat.

EDIT

You do realize what this will mean yes? If this game sells well, then we may see the next fad that might overwhelm the modern military shooter one.

Uncharted 2 and 3 both got more perfect scores than that. There are hundreds of websites out there so it's not like 25 means everyone thinks it's a masterpiece.

Also Uncharted never became a fad that overwhelmed the modern military shooter. Also the survival horror genre has been around forever and at one point was VERY popular, it's not like it's some new thing. Resident Evil on PS1 sold in the millions and were some of the most popular PS1 games. Now days there really aren't any survival horror games. Resident Evil is now just an action game and same with Dead Space.

The most important meal of the day
Didn't this game first emerge like years ago? I remember reading some video game mag about it at least 3, 4, if not more years ago. It was either Game Informer or EGM. Either way, I'm planning on buying this game because from what I've seen personally, as well as all of those awesome reviews, it seems pretty nice. And worthwhile. I love long campaigns. Especially since I'm always busy I normally only have 30 minutes to a couple hours at the most a day or every other day to play games. This one should last me awhile.

Critics tend to inflate a perfect "10" nowadays, being far more common then they used to be. I'd just read the reviews themselves. xP

Don't tell me what I can or can't do!

Makes me want a PS3 that much more....despite the fact that a new generation is upon is. XD I hope I get to try out this game one day.

I played the demo. Honestly wasn't impressed. It was a lot of walking around and looting worthless items. When I finally fought some zombies they were ridiculously hard to kill. Maybe the full game will be better, but honestly, I'd be more excited about it if I hadn't played the demo.

That's tue epitome of survival horror. Finally a real survival horror game as most of them have been turned into action games. *cough*residentevildeadspace*cough*
