"I didn't use the whole thing ...." Posts: 3,252 Group: =SB= Kings Member #9,868 Joined: March 28, 2009	In today's Nintendo Direct it was revealed that Nintendo has gone into a global partnership with Sega that will mean that the next game in the Sonic series (Titled Lost Worlds) will be released exclusively for the Wii U and 3DS. Nothing else was revealed about the game apart for the above screenshot.

Well darn though guess I was wrong, from the image I assumed they were going to be heroes, but who knows perhaps Sonic will help them see the light? :V Also Sonic looks more like his classic counterpart, I like it. <3 Time to save up for a Wii-U and I do have a 3DS to fall back on.

I'd need at least 3 games in all. This game could possibly be added to the list, along with the new Super Smash Bros. I'm not too keen on next-gen Mario games as they all seem the same to me. I still don't see how the Gamepad will be incorporated but leave it to them to find a "Lost Planet" with Flickies. Go figure. Lol. The visuals are pretty solid. You can always count on Nintendo Sonic games to have that.

I can't tell if I'm happy with this or disappointed, or a weird mishmash of both. Though I think I had the same feeling when Sonic Colors came out and that was a good game. Saw a picture someone showed with the trailer and at first thought "No, that can't be right, this must be a rick roll or something." I guess it was being hit by the old school stuff rather quick and hard. (Maybe Lost Worlds is rejected Sonic levels/areas/whatever?) Edited by VlaDDrakkeN, May 28 2013, 11:37 AM.

I also think one of the Nintendo exclusive games besides this one will tie in with this. Also 64 seconds into the trailer, you can see Cyan Wisp's crystals for a brief second.
