"I didn't use the whole thing ...." Posts: 3,252 Group: =SB= Kings Member #9,868 Joined: March 28, 2009	In today's Nintendo Direct it was revealed that Nintendo has gone into a global partnership with Sega that will mean that the next game in the Sonic series (Titled Lost Worlds) will be released exclusively for the Wii U and 3DS. Nothing else was revealed about the game apart for the above screenshot.

(Not like the Werehog though...) None of them really give me a foe vibe to be honest with you, but maybe you'd have to fight them first before befriending them.

"Six will rise from the Lost World. Are they friends or foes? Find out May 29th." Well looks like we'll have to wait until next Wednesday to see the reveal of each character... Reminds me of skylanders though, however the gimmick might work out well. I also got a Sonic colors vibe to this too, perhaps each friend gives Sonic a new ability? I agree with Lifio on this one. It be nice to have some villians for once. Certainly would be a nice break from Eggman. Though with 6 new characters, I'm beginning to think I know how this character rosters gonna go.

Praying that this game has good gameplay and gimmicks. Modern Sonic dug him out of that hole a lot quicker then anyone expected, and I love the feel of that engine and speed altogether. Perfect. Adding a gimmick to it? I'm excited. Sonic Team has been very creative lately, and I can't wait to see what they bring out. Should make up for this horrendous character design.

Sonic Crossroads 6 years ago, I began a fangame project called "Pure Shadow". I cancelled the project due to lack of time and other priorities. Now that I'm in college, and have loads of more time, I found the file and began to pick it up again. After refreshing my memory of all the coding put into the engine, I decided to use it to write a new project. Drawing out a new plot and new gimmicks for the project, I decided to rename this project called Sonic Crossroads. This project is going to be completed in Game Maker 8 PRO coded by myself and my friend who goes by the alias, MastaaFrederick. Because of our lack of experience in many aspects to increase enjoyability (such as music, artistry, animation, etc.), we want to develop a small team to work on this project. Anyone who is interested, please message me. On top of these things, we want to create a new antagonist for the story. We, MastaaFrederick and I, need a whole new character concept. We want the most creative fan character we can find, and create a sprite sheet for this character. We would like to find a character via messenger. Demo for the fangame coming soon.

Just from silhouettes? :\| Doesn't really surprise me. Likely continuing the cartoony designs that were seen in Unleashed and Colors. That world reminds me of the map in SA strangely. Excited to see where this goes, hope the Lost World is huge. ~~Maybe chao gardens? I know, I know, I'm just fantasizing at this point, I dunno.~~

Deleted User	Notably most, if not all of those, look rather demonic in nature. You can make out spikes/horns on all of 'em. Doesn't exactly spell 'friend' to me, but to be fair not all beings of demonic nature/appearance turn out to be evil in games. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.
