Posts: 3,252 Group: =SB= Kings Member #9,868 Joined: March 28, 2009	In today's Nintendo Direct it was revealed that Nintendo has gone into a global partnership with Sega that will mean that the next game in the Sonic series (Titled Lost Worlds) will be released exclusively for the Wii U and 3DS. Nothing else was revealed about the game apart for the above screenshot.

And then I noticed Sonic and Tails on the Tornado. Honestly, I have no idea what to say about this yet. Finally comes to mind, considering the fact that it's been almost half a year, but as for thoughts on the information revealed... I think the title is pretty cool. I'll have to wait a while for expanding my thoughts on the matter, though. And then of course there's the fact that I don't have a Wii U or a 3DS. I'm guessing the Wii U version will be the superior version of the game, which is rather unfortunate for me considering the fact that there's more games on the 3DS that have caught my eye than on the Wii U. Honestly, a lot of the Wii U games that interest me are ones that I could just get for the PS3, so I'm really not all that inclined to buy a new system. Even with the possibility of my getting a 3DS taken into account, that's unfortunately a bit down the list at the moment, because of the PSVita and a few games for it. So, I guess I might be able to get this by 2014/2015, haha.

Don't really see anything to get hyped about at the moment, but it's something to keep an eye on. I did notice a thing at the bottom on the list of games featured that said "New game in the Mario & Sonic series". I'm assuming that'll be for the next Winter Olympics, but still. Part of me has to wonder if it has something to do with this. Probably not. You should ignore my musings~

It seems kinda Sonic anime movie-ish, but this is only to first speculation. I'm not tickled that it's Wii devices exclusively, they lose out on a lot of sales that way. Me being one, as I'm not purchasing a Wii U until the next Smash Brothers game is announced. I'm curious as to what the plot will be. At least it's not titled *Excursion.* -breaks into Aussie accent-

I heard about this a few hours ago, however I read that it was going to be only on the Wii U, which I don't have. I'm hoping that it's still almost as good as the HD version, considering what the 3DS is capable of. Maybe we'll see Sonic in 3D on a handheld for once, which I'd be looking forward to. And I just want multiple playable characters again for once. Is this just a rumour so far or has it been confirmed? Because I don't want to be let down again.

Could still get this for 3DS though. I'll probably wait on it like what I do with most Sonic games as of lately, not enough for me to like or ignore. The planet kinda reminds me of Super Mario Galaxy, the colorfulness and all. But if the rumored details about playing multiple characters are true then I'm excited. Hope these "Lost Worlds" can give me the many levels the older games offered. While good, Colors and Generations I beat pretty quickly. Also, I wonder what this third game could be, Ninty and Sega announcing a partnership for 3 Sonic games. The first is this, second is another Mark and Sonic Olympic game, but the last has yet to be announced. What could that be... ? A Mario Kart and Sonic Racing crossover?

Sonic and friends become a hexed based strategy game! ...yeah. It was that or "Settlers of Catan: Sonic Edition." Though Civ 5 does come to mind. As well as Panzers. But yes, Wii U only? Well I am planning to get one this year, so theres that. But I really do wonder(And hope) if Sonic and Tails won't be the only characters(Besides Eggman) in this one.

Sonic Crossroads 6 years ago, I began a fangame project called "Pure Shadow". I cancelled the project due to lack of time and other priorities. Now that I'm in college, and have loads of more time, I found the file and began to pick it up again. After refreshing my memory of all the coding put into the engine, I decided to use it to write a new project. Drawing out a new plot and new gimmicks for the project, I decided to rename this project called Sonic Crossroads. This project is going to be completed in Game Maker 8 PRO coded by myself and my friend who goes by the alias, MastaaFrederick. Because of our lack of experience in many aspects to increase enjoyability (such as music, artistry, animation, etc.), we want to develop a small team to work on this project. Anyone who is interested, please message me. On top of these things, we want to create a new antagonist for the story. We, MastaaFrederick and I, need a whole new character concept. We want the most creative fan character we can find, and create a sprite sheet for this character. We would like to find a character via messenger. Demo for the fangame coming soon.
