It just keeps getting worse!! It appears the Xbox One has a proprietary port making it incompatible with all current headsets! It's just to get more money!! The Xbox One is just an attempt at being a cash cow but I really think it will backfire on them!!

Which I'm sure you're all too happy to report, Mr. Sony. ŠP

But yeah, that's kinda dodgy. Microsoft y'done goofed.

So out of curiosity, what can be said about the Xbox One that's positive? I'm more of a Sony supporter, and I can already say with confidence that I won't be buying this, but I'm interested in seeing what might actually be considered good about the Xbox One. I mean, I can't be all bad. Can it?

The best I've heard is that people really like the idea of force feedback shoulder triggers on the controller.

Pretty much everything else has been nigh universally canned.

Hey I would rather have Sega back in business because anything Microsoft has made can't even touch what they put out in their heyday. Yeah I've never been an Xbox fan but since Sega coming back isn't realistic I was at least hoping and expecting them to put a good effort into it. I expected the rumors to be false. I expected something that would force Sony to try their best(which by how the PS4 is looking it looks like the 360 really made them go all out for their next system) which is what I want because competition is a good thing for everyone. I know Microsoft is a money hungry company but just wow... You see, Sony shot themselves in the foot with the PS3's price and Cell processor but Microsoft pretty much have shot themselves in the face...

Ahh, okay. It's good to hear their controllers have had some sort of an improvement, anyways. xD; That was my area of largest complaint with the previous Xboxes, although admittedly more so on a comfort of holding level than on a functionality level.

The only good thing I have seen is the controller itself is pleasing. Looks less generic than the 360 controller, more sleek. Really there hasn't been much positive talk about it. A funny thing is no one invited to the conference from the press were even clapping during the conference, Microsoft hired an audience to applause when they wanted, otherwise it would have been dead silent. It's like they knew...

This just popped up and apparently will be revealed at E3.
Don't get your hopes up too high, It apparently uses the Kinect for the controller.

So, how bad was the presentation? So bad that Amazon sales of the Wii U in the UK absolutely sky-rocketed;

Yeah, it's safe to say that it is point, the competition is going to be between Nintendo and Sony and Microsoft is not going to do all that well this gen. =|

I kinda figured... After watching it I even felt like getting a Wii U down the road as a supplemental console.

Haha, yeah. I mean I'm going to wait and see what games they'll see before doing my official review of this but sigh.

They really are executing everything poorly. As somebody said, these built-in features make the damage already done, even if they show great games.

Yeah, because that's exactly what a game that's basically about free running across rooftops needs. Sounds like a right nightmare to control.

You know Microsoft messed up when it makes even Neo want a Nintendo console. ^_^
Who's ready for Microsofts fail of the day?
Enjoy.

wat

I wouldn't say that's a fail but just... is that really necessary? It's not really helping getting rid of the vibe that the Xbox is becoming an 'entertainment' console instead of a 'gaming' console.

They lost me at Kinect 2.0, After that was said to be compulsory I just switched off and didn't give a damn anymore.
Nothing good came of the Kinect.
