I don't mind no backwards compatibility either, I have never used it on my PS2 or PS3. Kinect is required for it to function so it'll be packaged in for sure but it's not integrated. They have stated they have like 15 exclusives within the first 12 months for it but I'm willing to bet half of them are kinect titles. They had a chance to capitalize but now even if they do well at E3, the damage is already done. Hype has been killed and with a great showing of games I doubt it can match Sony's E3 unless they do something very stupid as well but it's very likely that they are sitting back and taking notes so they can deliver a huge blow to them. |

The Kinect will be a separate device to the console. It will come packaged in with every console. And yes, you have to use it. For both motion and voice features. |

Aaargh yeah, I can't see the price being not high... Also, the thing seems rather bulky, assuming I got the right photo? It reminds me of a washing machine.... |

It's not too bad, it's smaller than the original Xbox but looks to be a bit bigger than the first 360. |

Honestly, I've never been an Xbox fan. xD; The first one was okay, but I didn't like the controller much. The 360 looks passable, but honestly upon trying it out, I found the controller to be even more uncomfortable than that of the Xbox. Now, the Xbox One thus far... Weeeelllll, I'll just say that I've got some more complaints about it than just the controller, haha. |

Yyyyeah I like the way it looks, the console is really attractive, but I am so against it. I'm keeping my 360, and I will probably not be purchasing the One at all. |

I definitely don't think this console is worth it. I think it looks nice, but...goodness-freaking-gracious. Angry Joe summed up all my thoughts on this matter perfectly. I mean...my brother and I share a console. Two XboxLIVE accounts. Are you telling me that we now need to pay double for our games? Really? You've got to be kidding me. I don't think I'll be buying this. Ever. I'll probably go to PC gaming before I ever look twice at this money-gobbler. |

PC gaming is well worth it, but I would recommend that you get your hands on a bit newer of a computer before trying it out. xD; There's a lot of good games, and many good multiplayer games for that matter, but most of the better ones (at least, in my opinion) are newer. |

I don't know where I'm going.
|
I just got done watching this...at 2 in the morning, and I don't have many feelings towards it. I knew the system was going to be revolutionary, which it is, but it comes with a heavy price it seems. I have to admit, watching the conference and seeing the Kinect - Home interaction was pretty neat, and all the multi-tasking bla bla it does is also swell, but I was trying to pay attention to the downsides of it. So many pros, but it seems like double the cons. Sucks too, because the little amount of footage they revealed was absolutely beautiful. Watching the EA Sports footage was...wow. I'm glad they're getting into it, and I know it's gonna be good, but I know this system is going to tank in sales, interest, and overall appeal in the early years. Me personally, I'm gonna stick to saving up for a Wii U and waiting a year or two for the PS4. Both systems seem more worth it...and I know GameStop is going to be way more generous with those two companies too. |

I'm honestly considering shelling out for a PS4 and keeping my 360 because Xbox... I didn't sign up for this shit! I'm really kinda angry about this right now. My dad has been telling me that I need to switch over to PlayStation and just leave Xbox alone and now I finally might just agree with him. He must be some kind of fortune teller or something. It's sorta disappointing for many reasons, one being because I'd love having such an attractive console sitting on my entertainment center but honestly not that piece of junk. I don't give a crap about EA sports, either. |

Doubt it's official but I expect both the PS4 and Xbox One to be that price. 399 dollar/euros because they always price it at the same euros despite the exchange rate. |

Because I'm too lazy to spend more effort talking about this, I'll just copy pasta my general sentiment here:
Not really going with the PS4 either at this point. Not until there's something on it that I need to have and can't play otherwise. Maybe it's time to pull out of the gaming gig and just stick with what I've got. |
