Video Description

This summer 2013, Sonic and Megaman are set for their first crossover ever in When Worlds Collide over at Archie Comics! Host Grace Randolph sits down to interview Editor Paul Kaminski about how he's bringing the Sonic comic books and Megaman comic books together starting with a prelude on Free Comic Book Day 2013, and then kicks off with Part One of Twelve in Megaman Comic 24, then Part Two in Sonic Universe 51, Part Three in Sonic Comic 248 and so on! Are you excited to see this Sega and Capcom crossover with Sonic and Megaman as they try to stop Dr Eggman and Dr Wily? Enjoy the Archie Comics crossover event When Worlds Collide, starting April 10th 2013! Think About The Ink is presented by Bleeding Cool.

So I follow Grace Randolph's "Between the Pages" but due to my earphones breaking, I hadn't checked what new videos she had posted over the last two weeks. So when I checked today, I found out she posted this and thought I'd share it with you guys.

I really want to get the comics, but I'm unsure how much I'll be able to keep up with them.

Being a fan of both the Archie Megaman and Sonic Universe comics, I was excited to hear about this. So far Only parts 1 & 2 have been released, but the third installment is said to be coming out sometime in May.

Anyone else pick this one up? Thoughts?

Almost half the issues have come out and I've still not got great interest in the crossover. It's certainly not making me any more interested in Mega Man.
Sonic Manga fanatic.

So how well are these comics written? I'm not too much of a fan of the Archie Sonic comics, and I have yet to read any of their Mega Man comics though I would love to read these as two of my favorite franchises have come together.

I've taken a quick look at this series and quite frankly I like what I've seen.

I don't follow these comics anymore, but out of curiosity and due to being linked to a thread on 4Chan that contained an issue, I read one. It amused me; Dr. Wily and Eggman have a complete bromance going on, complete with constant complimenting the other's intellects, trading stories of their conflicts with their respective nemesis', and brofisting.
Plus it's made some amusing jokes, like a callback to the old SEGA game Vectorman, which I got right away and had a good laugh about.

I've only read one issue, but I think I may read more in the coming days.

I'm actually enjoying this to the point where I've asked the local comic book store to add Mega Man to my regular monthly import. Well done Archie, mission accomplished!

I've been reading up on this and quite frankly I was so excited to read this.

I've been keeping tabs on when a new issue was released. I'm seriously enjoying this series. I'm seriously excited to see how this is going to end.

I read all my sonic comics on youtube. And I've been keeping up with the crossover as well. I'm very impressed.

There are some great quotes in there, the most recent being during the huge battle at the end where a Megaman robot name Napalman fires missiles at Shadow while laughing "Bwahaha you can never stand against my sheer firepower!" Then Omega opens up and says "Please...back of the line pea-shooter!"

I saw a little more focus on Eggman being truely evil, Sonic being egotistical, and Tails being alot more helpful. They even have Tails doing the spin dash as well. In fact I've noticed alot of "return to retro" going on during the crossover ark. I'm pumped for the finale when it comes out.

I read all my sonic comics on youtube.
Why do this, especially given the comics themselves are cheap enough to buy and physically read in your hands? Not to mention you'd also be supporting the artists who provide the comics by contributing towards their wage packet.

I don't exactly live in a metropolis. I don't know where I'd buy them.
