Walkers, Walkers everywhere
|
A thread where you can post the most terrifying experiences you've well, experienced. Well here's mine. It was last night, actually. I had this awful nightmare. It began with me carrying an M16, and walking on an abandoned street. I couldn't figure out where I was, so I looked for any life form I could. I didn't find any. I looked up to a street sign, I believe it read "HELL" Now, I laughed at this initially, due to A) It's a cliche and B) I'm an Atheist, thusly I don't believe in such places. I eventually found a worn down office building, and kicked the door down, my gun evidently had a high powered flash light attached, as it activated as soon as I stepped in. Then I heard this buzzing in my ear, and a voice spoke to me, "Agent Connor, you remember your mission. Find the girl." I walked around the building some more, and eventually called out for an answer, I didn't get one. I walked back to the front door, and saw a very out of place grave stone on the ground. I picked it up, and it read my name. I freaked out, and threw it onto the ground, causing it to smash into a million pieces. At this point the static rang in my ear again, and the same voice asked me what was wrong. I asked him what the fudge was going on, and that I found a grave with my name on it. Then some ******* came up behind my and knocked me unconscious. The last thing I remember is a conversation going something like, "But we have him here, NOW, we can kill him here!" "No, he must suffer longer..." Then, out of my control, I spoke up "You fudging assholes are dead when I get out of here..." Then I heard a blood curdling scream and came to, seeing myself soaked in blood, in the street. I saw a shadow standing over me, and it kicked me in the chest. Then I woke up, covered in sweat. The weirdest part? I had scratches and bruises I didn't have when I went to bed. So yeah mine's a long one, and terrifying tales you would care to tell? |

Sonic and Raven! :3

Once I had suffered from sleep paralysis in my gf's old bedroom, and saw a dark figure watching me sleep. Now I know it's common to see stuff that's not real while suffering from SP, but I never did feel comfortable in her old bedroom. I've suffered from SP before that happened, and never saw anything so needless to say after I snapped out of it I freaked out and asked if her and I could switch spots on the bed since I didn't feel comfortable laying on that end after that. |

Hydrocity Act 2
|
In all honesty, not much things scare me at all these days, and I haven't experienced many scary moments either. Having said that, when I was younger (about 8-12) I used to get night terrors frequently, and although I don't exactly remember what went on when they occurred, I do remember that they scared me s**tless. |

Whew, that's tough. I used to get both when I was around six(?) or so. Have had sleep paralysis on a few occasions since then, though... I can't say I believe it's always purely biological, there's a bit more to it than that in some cases. That's one of the scariest things that's happened to me, but it sort of depends on whether you mean "scariest and actually dangerous thing" or "scariest harmless thing". I've had a lot of both. As far as harmless things, one of the worst was when I was about five... I was in some building (possibly a church or school?) where my mom was having a meeting, and I was in another room with other kids and a babysitter. Since my mom had been one of the ones in charge she had to help clean up afterward and she was running late. So it's just me and this lady, the other kids are gone already, and she keeps looking at the clock like she's getting impatient. Finally she says she's sorry, but she can't stay any longer because she wants to go home and make dinner. So she left me there, alone, at night, in this creepy unfamiliar room. The door was the type where the top half can open independently from the bottom, so she just locked me in. And I was one of these little kids who was terrified of being alone. I ended up stuck in there for like half an hour before my mom finally came along. She had no clue the woman literally left, and didn't believe me at first when I told her. Actually went into the bathrooms to check for her, etc. Suffice to say whenever she had to go to a similar meeting, from then on she left me at home with dad. |

Good vibes.

Well, for me it would be any time I was in a place high up. I do NOT like hights. Oddly, I don't actually get scared during dreams even when I should. I remember a part of one dream where someone shot me in the forehead, and I fell to the ground. I had no emotion towards it at all. Huh. Perhaps it deals with the fact that I have no control of my actions when I'm dreaming. |

Angel Island Act 1

Scariest moment for me would probably be during the winter months when I was 17. I had gotten my driver's license a few week's earlier, and I was super happy about it as all teenagers are. It was snowing pretty badly while I was on the highway, I must have hit a turn wrong because the car started spinning out on me, I hit breaks and turned the wheel as hard as I could trying to go in the way of the slide. I closed my eyes and thought, "Shit, I'm going to die tonight, I know I'm going to die tonight." and that repeated in my head over and over and over until a few seconds later when I opened them, and found myself on the side of the road completely unharmed, other than the car being dented a little. I finally got home, didn't tell my parents or anything, just went to my bedroom and collapsed on my bed. |

Angel Island Act 1

I've had two kidney stoned in my life thus far, as they kinda sorta run in my family. One was when I was seven (almost unheard of). The second was half a year ago or so. It was the most painful, and scariest thing for me, the second time :3 At the peek of the pain, I dare say I have an idea how painful childbirth is. |
