Eh, just curious. Someone gave me the idea because I was asked this on my Facebook page. What were the most embarrassing things you have ever experienced? Here's mine... I survived a full day of school in underwear and a t-shirt. It was the most embarrassing thing I've experienced, but no one noticed so that's why I say I "survived." I don't know, I was in Kindergarten and I forgot to put pants on and I thought I had shorts on until I saw the "Hanes" label on the waistband. I was panicking throughout the whole entire day, trying my best to cover it up. I feel extremely embarrassed from it still, but then again, I feel sly as hell because of the fact no one noticed it. Another embarrassing thing I've experienced actually happened recently. I was on the bus, reading a book and listening to music, which I felt great because I had my guitar with me and I was going to play it in the guitar class. After I put my book down, my stomach started to cringe really bad. I ignored it, but it got worse to where I felt like I was going to vomit. I sprinted out of the bus and into the Middle School (because the bus stops at the Middle School to drop off Middle School kids, which we both ride the same bus). Once I got in, I did my business and ended up getting sent home. I felt embarrassed because I made such a commotion in front of the kids of not just my bus, but other buses. |

"I will kill ALL of the Titans!"

I was a somewhat independent soul in early high school and down. The opinions of others didn't matter much to me and they still don't, but I was less publicly conscious then. One could define me and my friends as spastic. Often, they'd run and cause commotion often while a large majority of people were around. I didn't start to grow out of this spastic nature until around 8th grade, then they'd go running off chasing each other and I would slowly trail behind them with my hands in my pockets during a "walking" recess when the government became conscious of fat kids. No polite way to put that. I got the label of "weird" but that's only because I sipped on maturity before finally taking one huge gulp. A truly embarrassing moment is hard for me to recollect currently. I have small memories, such as tripping on a power cable in the front of my class and gathering myself quickly or arriving late to class, attempting to open the door, and only crashing face first into the nice, glass pane embedded into it. Of course the class got a kick of the distorted look on my face.

Mushroom Hill Act 2
|
Aww man. I remember when I was in primary school, and I woke up late so I had to rush to get ready for school. I didn't have to catch a bus or anything because the school was only a 10 minute walk away. So I am rushing my butt of to make sure I am not late and after I am done, I rushed out of the house. Now because of a bad experience with dragonflies, I am completely terrified of them. You couldn't pay me to even think of one. Trust me, it's that bad. So I am running to school, and how convenient, a bunch of flipping dragonflies are just flying around in groups. (Although I shouldn't have been too surprised about it in hindsight. My school usually had those in the Spring and ducks in the winter! ^.^). While I am running to school, I am trying to avoid the dragonflies, crossing the street and trying not to get hit as well. I am pretty sure I looked like a fool just running and flailing around. But that wasn't the worst part, my friends were already in class so I am sure they didn't see me running around. I finally make it to school and rush to my class. So I'm in the class trying to explain why I was late, but I was out of breath so everything came out like "Ioversleptandwasrushuing ... runningfromdragonfliesandthecars and ... fnlkihabnlkrbionhiuhnlopw5gtw5 *dies*" One of my best friends in the class pointed out that I was still wearing my slippers, so that made it worse, on top of that I'm getting ready to sit down and catch my breath, but there was a dragonfly stuck in the classroom. So I'm here freaking out and everyone is looking at me crazy. I'm trying to get someone to kill it, but they were all like "It's no big deal, it's just a dragonfly. It's not gonna hurt you." I'm like, "dafuq u mean? They are all trying to kill me". I was spazzing out. For the whole day, everyone was looking at me crazy, and laughing at me. They thought I had lost my mind! I didn't want to go to recess because there were a bit of dragonflies out there. It was terrible. Normally in primary school, I'd walk home with my friends after school (we all didn't live that far from each other ^.^ most of my classmates live in my neighborhood.) but after that day, I was like nope. I'm calling my mom to pick me up. To this day, my brother still laughs at me about it.

The most important meal of the day
|
Hm, I feel like I've posted something in a thread similar to this before, but ah what the hey. So I was skating at work, right? This was at my job when I lived in a different state, skating wasn't required down there but I decided to try it out anyways. Our store was on this deep incline, so you gather a lot of speed quickly, and I was not used to skating quite yet (now I'm practically a pro, but that's now and this was two years ago). So I go outside with my tray of 2 root beer floats to deliver to the customer. I gather just enough speed to slam face-first into the menu board, fall backwards on to my posterior, and, to add insult to injury, spill both the root beer floats, completely soaking me from head to toe in liquid, creamy, carbonated delicious embarassment. When I got back inside my boss told me I could take my skates off for the day LOL |

You won't get much closer, 'till you sacrifice it all.

I'm not stupid, but I can be rather clumsy on occasion; and that's forfeited me of my dignity a couple of times. One single "most embarrassing" incident doesn't necessarily come to mind but small, insignificant ones do. Although they're not too bad in terms of causing me shame, they do tend to happen rather often. xP I remember this one time when I was about eight years old, and I'd been taken on a day out with my family to some gardens. Shortly after the tour we found ourselves in the gift shop, and I immediately set my eyes on something- I don't recall what it was, only that I thought I needed it right there and then- and so I ran up to my mum (or so I thought, >_>; ) and gave her a great big hug, expressing my desire to have the aforementioned object. But noooo, she had to turn around and reveal herself as a random woman who didn't look too happy to see me, which is when of course I caught sight of my family laughing at me from the other side of the shop. ;I Now that I think about it, it doesn't really compare to the embarrassing experiences I've heard about from others, it's just the first one that popped into my head. xD |

Walkers, Walkers everywhere
|
Oh boy, where do I begin. So, it's mid 2004/late 2003. I was 4 at the time. I was graduating preschool, and in my very young mind, cooties was a very real and dangerous disease. So we were all walking up to this little platform, and the two teachers were with us. One hugged us, the other kissed us. Everyone was fine with it. |

Well, it's probably not the MOST embarassing, but it's the most recent moment in history I can remember: Today. This morning, in my third-period English class, we had a speaker come to class and talk about sexual harassment and how to prevent it and such. So, at one point, the speaker has us stand up and walk over to the left or right side of the room, based upon our opinions of the statement on the presentation screen. Up comes this statement: "Men and boys don't have to be worried about sexual harassment because it doesn't happen to them," or something along those lines. As a self-respecting male teenager, I strongly disagree with that statement.... however, my mind read it as "Men and boys DO have to be worried about sexual harassment," so I stand out of my desk, and walk over to the "I Agree" side of the room. I'm standing there, seeing EVERYONE walk over to the other side. So I'm thinking, "Huh. Nobody cares about men being sexually harassed." Then the speaker asks me, "So why do you think that men or boys shouldn't feel as if they're in danger?" I looked at her and said "What?" I look at the screen again, and then read what it ACTUALLY says, and silently and quickly walked over to the "I Disagree" side of the room. Yeah... it was fuuun. |

Hydrocity Act 2
|
Hmm well not many embarrassing things come to mind that have happened to me - this is because recently nothing really embarrassing has occurred, and in recent years I haven't really cared what people think so I embarrass myself on purpose for laughs, you know? Anyway, for now all I can think about is some time ago in my high school I was pushed by a friend of mine and I slided across muddy grass due to the rain. I had a lot of mud on me and many people saw it. Sure it isn't that bad, but if I recall anything better I will post it. |

Marble Garden Act 1

Not the most embarrassing I've ever had, but a couple days ago at the gym I wasn't paying attention and went into the ladies restroom. I thought I was in the clear because I turned around five steps in when I figured it out, but by then one of the girls walking from the weight room saw me and started laughing. I was embarrassed but I joked it off. |

Sandopolis Act 2

Darn. I wish I could have seen this. I've walked into the men's room at the airport by accident before. It can be aptly summarized as the following: Me: -walks in three steps; looks up to see a man washing his hands staring back at me- Random Man: *stares while the water is still running* *awakward silence* Me: ... = I -turns around wordlessly and walks into the ladies' room- That happened...what, two years ago? |
