I wanted to represent Kokoro with the design, size and shape of the banner, colors, and fonts. I think I did nicely with the swirly print up top, and the tiny, rounded letters on the bottom, which I think have a youthful appearance, just like Kokoro does. The yellows, blues, and pinks are colors frequently found on Kokoro. In DoA4 she had a lot of grey and black in her school uniforms, but in DoA5 she shows a lot more color variety, including purples, blacks, and reds. But I decided to stick with a picture of her in her unceremonial yet still very attractive kimono from this dynamic scene that shows up in her debut in 4 as well as her return in 5.

For Pai Chan, she is quite the dynamic and likeable character, and this is not just my opinion. My only real problem with this banner is that the background picture of Pai is very blurry. I will try to fix that, whenever I have time.
Anyways, I decided to use a wider and all-around bigger banner size for her. Mainly because she has such a strong pose that I wanted to get mostly in view (might try to remake this with a picture showing off her leg position as well). I also like her background. It's one of my favorite stages, and also my favorite stage for Pai to fight in. You can crash through floors, over banisters and down stairs, and out the window to the cherry blossom covered yard below. The music in this stage I also consider to be Pai's "theme music" but this is not canon and just my wishful thinking.

Anyways, more on the actual banner itself.
I don't really like this outfit of Pai's, but so far in DoA5 she only has 5 outfits, and I could only find a picture for like 3 of them, none of them showing off a winning pose or one satisfactory to me except for this one. So I outlined the border to match her outfit, as well as the very top line and the very bottom line. I used such solid and sharp looking print for the top line because this is one of her winning quotes, and Pai is serious when she wins, although never boastful. For the bottom-most line, I don't really like how I did it, and will probably go back and change it at some point. The red is very bright and sticks out, especially underneath that blue. And it kinda smudges a little bit at the end of "need" and the beginning of "better", when the words get to her leg. Also, I have it shadowed in gold, but that makes it look kinda blurry, which isn't good because the background is fuzzy as well. So yeah, will probably go and change that when I have time.
For the middle line, I decided to make it blue to match Pai's original/main outfit. Also this is her trademark catchphrase and a recognizable line that is synonymous with "Pai Chan" so I decided to make a little nod to her original look and make that particular line blue. The font was just... eh, I wanted something pretty and elegant. Pai is an action movie actress, after all, and is bound to have at least the slightest glimmer of glamour associated with her.

Now THIS one I cannot honestly find a single thing wrong with. My first two up there I can find tons of things wrong with, but this one just really does it for me. I tried to make the silver and gold (found in the outlines of the text and the border of the whole banner itself) as un-tacky as possible, and I think it worked! You know what they say, gold and silver are tacky together, and it takes some true talent to make them work. While that is mainly referring to clothing, I imagine, and not banners, I still think I make it work here!

The image is of rather better quality than those I've used in the past. I like this picture because it shows a lot of Tina's personality. Her charming little smile paired with the sassy twinkle in her eye and the "I own this world" expression on her face really just let her personality shine through this one snapshot. I noticed that immediately when scrolling through and I knew I had to use this picture. Plus it's one of the few that isn't completely raunchy and racy so you're welcome for that. I did want to use one that showed her in her cowboy hat but, eh, this one is really good too.

I chose the double dashed border in silver and gold because I think it looks like more lights. Right now she is clearly in a fighting arena filled with lights and cameras and action, but since Tina is an over-the-top superstar of many talents, I thought I'd add a few lights of my own. She deserves them, after all.

And of course, to state the obvious, I made the lines of text match her outfit. You can see around her neck the black and gold, but what you can't see on bottom are her black (and gold?) shorts and matching footwear.
